No. All you guys voting yes want to give up everything you have, kill millions of people in a civil war, destroy the country and at the end of the day still end up part of the union? Go watch Ken Burns and then get back to me!

What we have is being stolen through corrupt, illegal elections. The will of the people is being denied. There's not going to be a Republic left. I don't want to kill anyone. Just let us go in peace. The Republic is dead. The DOJ, CIA and FBI are all corrupt. China has completely infiltrated politics, the media and of course the radical left. Amerika is coming soon.

Nope. United we stand, divided we fall, and all that. Had the south won the Civil War, probably everybody in Europe be speaking German right now. And most of Asia speaking Japanese. Also wouldn't be the huge country with tremendous resources that put a man on the moon, built the Panama Canal, started numerous amazing companies, and did a million other great things.

I can understand your thoughts. However the Texas economy ranks 10th in the world. I think we'd be more than fine.

How much ammo and other weapon systems are made in Texas?

Curious about actual fuel supply?

I believe the last big discovery in W Texas is what put us over the edge in total energy independence. Why can't we build mfg facilities for our munitions needs?

Yay

I've been proposing the idea of a peaceful withdrawal from the USA for the state of Texas for many years with my history/geopolitical friends. Would the USA commit to a war with a state that was seeking a peaceful modern day divorce?? It would seem these people would be glad to get rid of us and the Texas Neanderthal way of thinking. Instead it is like a terrible relationship where your partner just lives to make you miserable. We can't let you leave because then we couldn't control you, ridicule your way of thinking, and make you miserable

They may indeed kill us versus let a state like Texas leave. The republic that we were all promised has been compromised and is failing.

Like someone said above. I think Texas could take a shot at America 2.0 and do it better with the advantage of historical perspective

46% of Texas voted for Biden. You think they are going to just up and peacefully agree to leave and have mandatory Trumpism forever?

No way

Is Missouri coming with us? if so we good on ammo.

Lake City Army Ammunition Plant (LCAAP) located at Independence, Missouri, in Jackson County, is the largest small-arms (5.56 - 20 mm) manufacturing plant in the world

Its pop gun. You guys think small. this ain't 1930. Your 5.56 wouldn't scratch the paint on an M4 Sherman which was a reliable but undergunned MBT of WW2.

Now a HARM and F-35 plant in DFW or software shops in Huntsville, AL building 'intelligent' attack drones. Now that sh** matters.

The Party Of Unity will probably use this thread to find targets for their Stasi hit squads, I mean Unity Hug Squads. Anyone saying yay in this thread is likely at risk to have to face the Truth and Reconciliation hearings.

That is, if they manage to pry, uh, something out of my low temperature appendages.

Yay.

IF Biden gets sworn in, AND we get to see Kamala 25th Amendment push him into the senior living facility, AND the REAL platform/policy gets moving? Yep, sign me up.

The SJW STASI thugs will be knocking on my door anyway.

Nay

I'm apposed to secession. It feels like tucking tail and running. Why should we turn over half our country to globalist elites? Why abandon patriots in CA, Eastern OR and WA, Western PA, etc? What makes the "Yays" believe that socialists will not interfere in a new republic and work to undermine it as well? They need to be crushed - in the courts and in the voting booth. We made good progress in the House. We can make more progress in 2022. Voting issues in WI, MI, PA, GA and other places can be fixed like they were in FL.

1. Texas secedes
2. Texas Dems and enough moderates are unhappy.
3. Texas Conservatives lose post secession election.
4. Texas becomes a sovereign blue nation.
5. US, without Texas, instantly becomes solid blue nation.

I never said I expect the Union to allow Texas to secede peacefully. I would hope they would allow a peaceful secession if that is what Texas wants.

If they want a war to prevent Texas from leaving, then that proves Texas point that the relationship was parasitic.

Texans in support of secession do not believe the Union is following the constitution and has laid out their case. The Union ignored Texas` case and basically said too bad you are stuck living with the results you think are fraudulent.

Texas wants to secede from the Union (with others) so they can follow the same Constitution that they think the Union is ignoring.

USA and Texas would both be following the same Constitution but in different countries due to the differences in interpretation.

So you would vote yay if you lived in Texas? Or would vote in Georgia to allow Texas to secede peacefully?
In your scenario your team comes out ahead in the end, so advocating for Texas to secede makes sense to you logically right?

No, I think secession is dumb for anyone. I wouldn't want to live in an all red or all blue state outside of the United States. I don't like full-blown red policies and don't want to be green new deal/socialist/communist either.
