Hey Libs, leave the science to the ones who understand it.

I'm currently pregnant and I'm in several mom or pregnancy groups on Facebook and they're wild. You can't call other members "mom" because they might not identify as such. They also call breastfeeding "chestfeeding" because men can do it too, apparently. You're also not allowed to use gifs or memes of POC if you're not a POC. I've had to leave a couple because they're just too much for me

The destruction of gender is simply meaning the end of any uniqueness of being a woman, or using male terms to define women, I'm not sure how women are standing by and allowing this.

So you have a bigger problem with the fact that they said pregnant and birthing people than the fact that Globally, ethnic minority pregnant women suffer worse outcomes and experiences during and after pregnancy and childbirth. These inequities have been further highlighted by #COVID19?
What's really amazing is how many women are supporting this move. It's like women are hell-bent on destroying themselves.YouBet said:It really is amazing how far they are setting back women's rights by now forcing men into women's topics.pagerman @ work said:Nonregdrummer09 said:

As my wife said: "If someone referred to me as a pregnant or birthing person they are getting punched in the face."
Their insane explanation:
What these idiots don't understand is that their desire/rush to be more PC/sanctimonious than thou with their gender goofiness completely undermines their actual subject matter (which, while ridiculous, is not nearly as ridiculous as the gender stuff).
They end up arguing about how many non-binary gender-fluid angels can line dance on the head of a pin instead of pregnancy outcomes and how whitey conspires to kill non-whites at birth.
And for those of us that find their obsession with gender and "identity" silly beyond words, it makes it impossible to take them seriously at all.
We dominate them in all other biology categories, so I guess they want to try and see if men can outperform women in giving birth as well?
But they can't. They have never been taught how to think and identify real problems. They only know how to cram phantom racism and gender identity issues into every situation they encounter. This is the only thing they know how to do.BigRobSA said:pagerman @ work said:Nonregdrummer09 said:

It's the self destructive nature of identity politics. When you virtue signal and support every victim group clamoring for attention, it backs you into a corner where you can't defend your own rational, self interests.ME92 said:What's really amazing is how many women are supporting this move. The one good thing about it is that the mystic of the Ivy League colleges is broken for many people. Personally, I laugh at anything that is attached to those colleges because of stuff like this.
A couple of years back, the speaker at my daughter's graduation was an alumni whose claim to fame was being involved in helping pregnant women in the third world. The pregnant women wouldn't be considered 'minority' as they were in the majority in these countries.AgBMF42 said:

The organization supplied birthing kits to pregnant women and midwives in those countries. The kits contained a small piece of soap for the person assisting the birth to use to wash their hands and a short piece of string to tie off the umbilical cord. That's it.
The speaker gave some statistics that showed an increase in successful births (meaning a living mom and baby) in areas where these kits were introduced. I can't remember those statistics right now.
You can't compare maternal outcomes in areas where soap and string are considered medical care to areas with full prenatal care, medication, surgical intervention on standby, and neonatal ICUs,
This isn't about whitey suppressing minorities. It's about some societies not giving a rip about their own people.
They're probably going for something more like "it".pagerman @ work said:Nonregdrummer09 said:LisaMarie said:

We should call everyone by a neutral term that also recognizes everyone's sttuggle against the establishment.

This matter is one of the more important ones rating ideological segregation. Right needs to start treating the Left simply as another religion most of whose creeds and doctrines are to be ignored and rejected. Yes, it would mean a form of balkanization even in the same city, but like with religion, the differences and consequences of the differences in doctrine and worldview warrant it.Nonregdrummer09 said:LisaMarie said:

It is starting to look like for safety's sake, trust in science should end with 1999. Any since needs to be re-examined and re-vetted about twenty five times. Of course since much of it never was checkable like proper hypothesis, that makes it harder.Satellite of Love said:

This is similar to the points on the Cleveland Indians thread. The unhinged Left `oppression narrative' and `identity politics gobbledygook needs to be rolled back and treated like the cancer it is.FrioAg 00 said:
Ok a global scale white women have never made up more than 8-10% of the population. How on earth are they a majority, or responsible in the least for the conditions of sh*those countries where they've never been?
The central problem with these dumb, "elite educated" liberals is that they actually believe the dogma espoused there about global impact, change the world, blah blah blah.
It doesn't work that way. It has never worked that way. It will never work that way.
The only people who can make someone's long term life better is... wait for it... themselves. Take some ownership of it.
If Nigerians want to have better healthcare outcomes it will only happen when Nigerians decide to put in the effort to improve them.
No one fixed it for Americans, we did it for ourselves.
