I don't pretend to understand the ins and outs of this. But from my perspective? I think they tread very lightly on how states conduct and certify elections. Once you open that pandora's box, nothing goes back in.

I never read what Texas filed, or what the other states added on, so I am not going to speculate.

If these are true Federalists, then I can see how they do not want to interfere with what the states did

You may disagree and I may even agree with some of what you do.

But they don't want to set a whole new precedent, in my opinion, because states think other states cheated.

Like I have pointed out many times, my candidate was Jorgensen, not Tweedledee or Tweedledum.

At the time of the election, I didn't care whether Trump won or whether Biden won. There was little reason to prefer one over the other. With Trump's mad craving to retain power, my opinion of Trump has been really plummeting from what was already pretty low. Anyone who craves power as much as Trump should not be given that power.

What I have been doing is looking at the Trump cult rhetoric and finding it very lacking. All along, it has been nothing more than attempts at rationalizing their position on the election. Any time you dig into any of that rhetoric, it falls apart.

A constitutionalist would have done exactly what the. court did today.

It's one thing to not like the decision. But it's impossible to make a serious argument that the decision was wrong per the constitution.

The damage done to the constitution by SCOTUS not rejecting this case, or even worse actually granting the relief that was sought would be much greater than the damage alleged in the election.

You don't save the constitution by ignoring it or worse.

The SCOTUS supposedly Conservative Judges that voted against hearing this case are probably gonna look back on this day in regret once the court gets packed, or the DEMs go after them for some other ruling they have to make over the next 4 years. They are going to have to get some intestinal fortitude at some point. They F'd up today..I don't think they understood the gravity of this case.

The only hope now is the state legislators in these states grow a pair.

Push like hell for the Convention of States option. Open more corridors of discussion like we have had with other states on this historic suit attempt. USE that.

Fully half the United States was skeptical enough to join the suit. USE that to utterly repress any radical socialism that D.C. under Kamala-Biden seeks to do. Rediscover nullification if needed.

But work within that framework. If you think about it, most problems with America are the national politicians and the national press, P&P. STATE level and inspired movements have great promise. Start trying to coordinate along those lines more, and encourage your local representatives to do this.

The next grassroots should be the Convention of States.

This lawsuit was fan service and probably the product of an under investigation AG looking for a federal pardon.

The very conservative, Federalist Society, Solicitor General of the State of Texas refused to sign up for the lawsuit. What bigger clue of this suit's merits did you need? The bad news is that this type of fan service works as demonstrated in this thread.

I'm excited about the positive impact a court like this can be for our country. Let's hold the Senate and move on.
