They misspelled Puppet

Notable part isn't that they gave it to the presumptive president-elect. That's happened every presidential year in their 93 year history of naming a person of the year with one exception. In 1968 they gave it to Apollo 8 Astronauts.

The notable part is that this is the first time ever that the presumptive president-elect has shared the "honor" with the presumptive vice-president elect.

If Biden is inaugurated Jan 20, he's not lasting 4 years in that seat. Those that voted against Trump because Biden is "safe", ignored who his running mate was to the detriment of our entire country.

The more I think about it, I think Time got it right. To put these two on the cover as Person of the Year is very appropriate for 2020. It's been a year that radical liberal idealogy and corruption has been exposed at every level of government in our liberal run cities, states and at the highest level and these two people are perfect symbols of this exposure.

I totally agree with the majority on here. Picking them is a terrible choice. If Biden becomes a good President down the line, consider it, but good grief he or she havent even taken office. Terrible idea.

I would have liked to have seen a front line worker sacrificing during the pandemic or someone who took part in the vaccine development chosen.

I was responding to a post about Stalin in 1939 and 1942. Time also made Putin man of the year in 2007 and Trump in 2016, which the staff of Time likely despise both of and see them both as forces of evil.

ETA: I don't doubt that the staff of Time chose them because they are giddy that those two "defeated" Trump. There's many other people in this crazy ass year that deserve recognition more than those two degenerates.
