Hispanic is a term that means nothing given that Latin America is the most racial stratified place on earth.

Cool story bro.

Even Republican run Texas recognizes.

AfroLatino seems to be the trend at the moment.

Interesting. Overwhelming majority since 1965 is Mexican.

That somewhat suggests it is more cheap labor driven than demographic displacement attempt driven; at a glance. Not sure.

Personally, I don't care what color they are. I just want immigration to be restricted to merit based selection. If we limit immigration to folks with merit and ambition, assimilation and maintaining conservative balance will take care of itself.

Of course I'd like to see the local US population start reproducing at higher rates so that depending on immigration wasn't necessary, but the lower birth rate trends are 4 decades in the making.

I've done my part. 2 biological, 2 adopted from birth, 3 brought into my family at older ages (went from resource-less illegal immigrants to citizens fully employed taxpayers), 2 god-children taken in as late teens (one now an Aggie graduate nurse and one a certified commercial welder), and a god-son-in-law who we just got his permanent visa and on path to legal citizenship)

Lots of different races, all Christian, all conservative and all proud 2nd amendment supporters. Immigration doesn't have to be a bad thing.
Wow. Loads of respect from me. God Bless you.

Thanks. I believe we can teach conservative values, and I hate it when people don't try, give up, assume certain groups of people wouldn't be interested, etc

It's not true. None of these ideas, liberal or conservative, are new. They have all been competing since the beginning of time. And all can be taught with some effort.

Agree. Smash the Marxist and identity politics layering opposed to assimilation in education. Its more about dismantling the indoctrination system of the Democrat Left here in schools and press than it is about immigrants coming here. Your own place is experiencing it.

According to you, these people are all the same ethnicity, Hispanic. Again this is like referring to Americans as an ethnicity (no matter the race).

According to you I have to some sort of admirative superpower that extends to multiple states.
If that were true, then all 50 states would have the Florida Election "Get 'er 100% done by 10:30pm" Model, but I digress...

Unsure if you are in Texas or not.
In Texas this is their official definition for HUB application/classification purposes:
Hispanic Americans, including persons of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, Central or South American or other Spanish or Portuguese culture or origin, regardless of race. (See HUB Certification CMBL Registration form 96-1321 (04/20))

So yes, Texas says that "culture or origin" trumps if you are an Asian Brazilian (It was so strange to me how many Japanese went there) or AfroLatino, or Lebanese (like Shakira) from Columbia or Italian like Manu from
Argieland.

In Texas here are the HUB Codes:

Quote:

HUB Ethnicity & Gender Codes

BL--Black
AS--Asian
HI--Hispanic
AI--Native American
WO--Women Owned
NA--Not Applicable
M--Male
F--Female
SV--Service Disabled Veteran of 20% or more

If you want to get angry as a juero, get on the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) email list. Any administrative rule that arises in the Austin is analyzed and communicated. I think it was last year when it was determined that if a HUB company was purchased by majority anglo employees in an employee owned company deal then the company could still be considered a HUB until their CMBL certificate expired. Aya caramba!?!!?! You would have thought Tia Carmen brought a white guy to the family gathering who put ketchup on tamales.

For the what changed in 1965 question with respect to immigration, that's about the time that Australia decided Italians and Greeks where white enough to immigrate to Australia.

So, the Italians stopped coming to the USA and started going to Australia. Also, so many Greeks went to Melbourne that it is now the second largest Greek city behind Athens.

Latin American is far more racially stratified than the US, much much moreso. The different races of people have little interaction in many areas, which is why the leaders of damn near every country in Latin America are close to 100% Spaniard or Portuguese in the case of Brazil while the poor are almost always those with mostly native blood or blacks.

Again, these groups are no more similar to each other than white Americans from Boston are to black Americans from the middle of Mississippi.

People from Latin America are white, black, native, mixed (mestizo or castizo), or Asian. You cannot have two people from entirely different races be of the same ethnicity. That's not how it is used in any other part of the world at all. Ethnicity is a subset of race, not the other way around.

You mean the Gottingen School of History three races standard or a standard of your own opinion?
Neither seem to have traction in 2020 when it comes to actual use with government classifications.

For the unenlightened:

https://anncoulter.com/2015/09/30/the-war-on-america-turns-50/

So in 1965 50 years ago this week Sen. Ted Kennedy passed an immigration law that has brought 59 million foreigners to our shores, who happen to vote 8-2 for the Democrats.

The 1965 act brought in the poorest of the poor from around the globe. Non-English-speaking peasants from wildly backward cultures could be counted on to be dependent on government assistance for generations to come.

We've already taken in one-quarter of the entire population of Mexico, most of whom seem to live in Los Angeles. For the last decade, nearly half of all felons sent to California's prisons have been Hispanic, according to the Department of Corrections.

In 1960, there were about 200,000 Muslims in the U.S., according to a study in the International Journal of Environmental Science and Development. Today, the U.S. census estimates that there are more than 6 million Muslims here. Muslims are expected to surpass Jews as the second-largest religion in America in about two decades.

No country has ever simply turned itself into another country like this.

Not really fake... it attempts to follow the logic of other so called "genocide" claims.

"They" call it the "so called" because they don't know the definition of genocide, but it suits "their" purposes and sounds scary.
Otherwise, when were all of those whites deliberately killed because of their ethnicity and on a scale so massive that they are almost wiped out.
I'm white and have no worry at all that my ethnic group is in jeopardy of being wiped out. (Except maybe if we're the Washington Generals). However, I am a very pasty white guy....and my kids have much more olive colored skin from my wife's side....So maybe I'm part of wiping out the whites? Dang it.

So this part is blatant exaggeration. Obviously.

In 1965, they claim the population of Mexico was about 40 million, today it's over 120 Million. I'm sure that has nothing to do with US immigration and probably has something to do with the Pope.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Mexico

Even the most wildly high estimates put illegal immigration at 30 million. And not all of those are Mexicans.

Now here's where we start splitting hairs on our "Hispanics". I don't dispute that 50% of inmates are "Hispanic" but, I'll bet a lot of that is from Guatemala, etc.

California is 40% "Hispanic" according to the US Census so, there's no surprise there.

Ann Coulter is about a 6 and doesn't really do much more than attempt to be a pretty face to stir S up on the conservative side. It would be nice if her arguments were a little more compelling.
