idk if there is even a point in engaging in this discussion. I'm obviously not going to change your mind and I can't speak for you on how it will be good for you.

But I wanted Trump to be out of office and never heard from again, to get covid under control and get back to normal, an administration that cares about science and investing in the future, a president who listens to his advisors and doesnt make horribly rash decisions, a president who doesn't appoint unqualified dip****s to cabinet positions based on nepotism, continued efforts to improve our healthcare system, restarting efforts to combat climate change and invest in clean energy, fix our economy and tax system so it's not just benefitting the wealthy and corporations, rehabilitate our relationships with our allies and reaffirm our commitment to the international community, stop kissing the asses of evil dictators, and to have a president who is a decent and kind person who genuinely cares about America and others, and wants to heal us.

However, ignore all of that. Even if none of the stuff above mattered, every single thing Trump has done since the election, to fight democracy, ignore the will of the people, prioritize himself over the country, and break centuries of tradition of peaceful transition of power all for his own disgusting selfish pride... that alone is reason enough to vote against Trump.
LOL - the great healer and uniter Biden telling a factory worker your full of sh**

Oh, is this where we start posting negative videos of either Biden or Trump saying either dumb and/or mean things? At this point, people are only posting things that are more likely to make themselves feel better rather than change anyone's mind. Its just F16 political ping pong (or badminton...if you're into shuttlecocks)
Show me a video where Trump tells a fellow American they are full of Sh**.
Can't. Because Trump does not hate Americans like Biden hates all Americans except those that riot, loot, steal, commit arson, murder, assault, attempted murder. Those are Biden voters. And if you belief that he got 80 million votes for that type of tyranny,

You are a tyrant wannabe and should be in prison for saying that.

Stay tuned.

Perfectly rational and well balanced take. Not at all ironic

Candace has a point there.

This multi-state case is so much more promising than those other ones and it looks like the rumors Ted Cruz was involved in the guidance of the write-up is correct. Much better.

One of the Lin or ?Powell ones even botched something like making an appeal when the district court had agreed to expedite the case. Baffling. Of course it crashed into a wall. Just tomfoolery.

I find it entertaining how hard you latch onto an idea based upon nothing more than seeing it posted as speculation on the internet. This "Ted Cruz is driving the Texas lawsuit" is just the latest example

I'm having trouble getting a read on Hawg lately. Can't tell if she is just messing around or if she has really slipped over in to Pro-TDS land (TDS can be just as virulent in the pro-Trump folks as it with liberals and neo-cons).

There has been a ton of socks and trolls showing up here lately to spike football and do end one dances on things they barely comprehend, so I can understand her frustration and lack of patience. Unfortunately that seems to be the world we are in now, all about trolling and drinking tears and then on to the next shiny object on the Twitter.

You seem peculiarly vested in Cruz not being involved. Why is that? It seems reasonable --- its very well written and to the point. It "looks" new, crisp, unlike some of the others. If its not Cruz, its someone with his skill.

Not sure why you are so bent on belittling the board as a source either.

Is it too hard for you to believe that intelligent, smart, reasonable people can actually recognize the fraud that took place?

With 20 states suing, you still think that only trolls and conspiracy theorists believe that there was significant malfeasance?

You don't think that is delusional?

Look, I'm 100% in on this Texas suit. But, all the circus side shows of those hack lawyers like Powell and "Lin Wood" have done nothing more than hurt the legitimacy of the argument.

Like the poster said, it's part of the game to post a tweet or meme, be happy and get drunk off "librul tears" until it's proven wrong or misinformation, then rinse and repeat. It's like Preparation H - it doesn't cure the hemorrhoids, but it makes them feel better.

Ok, I'm not a fan of Powell or Lin. Fine. They should be summarily ignored.

And, I don't get the twist up on the paper ballots and Dominion servers. My take is that no one on this board knows what they are talking about either way on that subject.

But, there are not that many things that have been "proven wrong" in the last 40 days. The reason is, that the system was set up so that nothing could be proven either way. That was part of the design, not a bug.

Yes. Because I do not believe any of this is done out of genuine concern that fraud occurred. It's done because the Republican Party is so far lost to Trumpism. This is not done out of stupidity, but rather malice.

These state AGs know this is a baseless lawsuit, and they are doing it because Trump's base has a gun to their head. They are doing it to appease them even though they know this lawsuit is going nowhere. The issues Texas complains about were litigated pre-election in these states' respective state/federal courts. These issues were ruled on. Also, Texas is hypocritical because we used emergency powers to change voting rules during the pandemic.

Trumpism has broken the entire party. Can you imagine if any blue states sued MI, WI, PA in 2016 because they didn't like the way those states did their elections? There would be massive uproar. Trump and his people hate democracy, and state AGs are too cowardly to do the right thing and say enough is enough. It's time to move on.

This is sedition, plain and simple.

Man, if most of the democratic party believes the way that you do, this is going to be a very rough decade.

When 39% of the population of the US say that they believed fraud occurred, and an equally large portion of the population are willing to toss that up as nothing but cult of personality, we are living in a ticking time bomb.

I will tell you, that if anyone from the GOP got caught orchestrating a massive fraud in an election, I would be calling for their execution.

Dems calling this Trumpism is putting their heads in the sand.

The only thing I'm belittling is the consistent effort to see two unrelated points and necessarily link them for no good reason.

You've seen really crappy lawsuits brought in the past challenging the election, and now you see one that is not essentially written in crayon, so you assume that means Cruz must be involved. There is literally nothing to suggest that he has been involved yet, and plenty to suggest he has not.

Look, we may find out Cruz has been secretly holed up in an office shadow writing the briefs the whole time - it wouldn't be the first time briefs have been shadow written and appears that Trump's was in this case. But, there are hundreds of appellate attorneys who could have written that brief and nothing suggests it was Cruz. But, since you aren't personally familiar with other appellate proceedings, you limit the possibilities to the narrow data sets you're familiar with. That's fine and we all do it to certain extents, but for some reason you can't see that you do it.

I respect Cruz and his background. Since the TX solicitor general apparently wants nothing to do with this case, Texas would be lucky to have Cruz involved. But I'll believe it when I see it.
