It was bound to happen eventually the "oppressed" of this country have never dealt with the horrors that foreigners live with on a daily basis. I would add this though - "oppressed and ENTITLED". LOL at the "old man yelling at clouds" post. I am 73 and proud of it, and am frequently referred to as "old man yelling at clouds". But it just rolls off my back. Us Olds KNOW what this country used to be and WHY it used to be that way.

Taken as a whole I'm not sure any generation looks less favorably than the baby boomers- allowing for the basic subjective nonsense that is generational stereotypes to begin with.

Granted we haven't seen how gen x and y will handle later life.

Some are weak, lots are very tough. Raise strong kids and they'll do just fine.

Truth. I was talking about this with a colleague, who is a coach, last week. Their response to ANY adversity is to just quit. They can't handle it. If you ask them to think critically or even just think at all in the classroom, they shut down. They would rather spend extra time Googling a SIMPLE question instead of thinking about it for two seconds. If they encounter any difficulty in athletics, they just quit. He said there is no way that you could challenge these kids like we were challenged by coaches growing up. Kids today just quit. You couldn't field a team.

God help us if we go to war. They'll quit before the first shot is fired.
