Every family I saw in a commercial was either all black or mixed race with white guy and black woman with bi-racial kids if they had them.
It was almost incredible how unrealistic commercials do not represent the real America. I've never seen it so blatantly manipulated.

I noticed this as well. I was visiting a friend and we were watching college football. We started tracking the races in the commercials and noted that all potential buyers of any products must be blacks or mixed race people only. No. I watch very little tv other than our football game. If it's been as egregious as I saw on Saturday I guess everyone else is just used to it now. I've obviously seen the trend before for some time, but I've never seen a straight 3-4 hours of commercials where almost everyone was black regardless of the product or service being hawked.
