Man, our fans just can't take this. Guys bit***ing and moaning about bringing in Rudis to get the final outs were the same guys complaining about Kelly taking him out the other night. Guys bit***ing and moaning about us swinging more aggressively early in the count tonight are the ones, including myself, who have been griping about our batters taking too many fastballs right across the plate on the first 2 pitches of an at bat. All in all, our guys played a very solid game with a lot of bright points besides for a rare Prager off night, Rudis last inning disaster and some bad at bats from Schott, Henesler (against his old teammate) and a few others. Hopefully, our pitching staff tomorrow won't serve up as many home run balls as we managed to do tonight.

Aggie reporters don't bite the hand that feeds them.

We need to stop being nice good Aggies and instead hold coaches accountable when things dont go right. They aren't your friends and they aren't people to cozy up next to especially after they ditch our team for a hated rival.

you're really overstating the talent we've got in both departments. Pitching inherently and batting due to injuries.


You're probably right. Schloss was worth every freaking penny for what he was able to do with this group.
Well, no. He had a much better lineup than this. He had Sorrell, Gavin, and Montgomery. And he had multiple more ace bullpen guys on the roster who went Pro after last season. And in the postseason Schloss benefited from pitching overall just over-performing vs regular season.

Except this has been a consistent red flag with this staff / team. People are free to share their opinion that they pitching staff has been managed poorly.

Partner it's no longer one game of bone headed coaching decisions. It's now multiple games where his decision making has lead to less than stellar outcomes. He is building a resume full of them. It is not generally a good thing for your head coach to be the one learning on the job. But, I digress.
