I'm conservative in pretty much all my views except one, I support gay marriage, now I also believe that if a gay couple wants to get married in a church and that church says no then that is the churches right and shouldnt be hated for it and the gay couple can get married in a church that will do the ceremony.

Native Americans and who ever thinks they are tragic victims can get over themselves, they had thousands of years to come together as one but instead spent those years, kidnapping, raping, enslaving, torturing and conquering eachother but then the " white man" comes in and ohhhh now it's bad to do those things, sorry take the loss.

99% of politicians are pedophiles, democrats Republicans they all do it and we actually let these sick ****s control us

All women are bi, there is no straight or lesbian women they are all bi

Almost gave you a blue star until I saw that last line. I don't agree with the first either, but is not as egregious.

You are likely more of a libertarian than conservative if those are your positions...

Anyone on a government assistance program will not be allowed to vote. If my tax dollars support my neighbor that neighbor can't vote to take more!!

That Martin Luther King Jr was far from the glorious hero that the educational system has convinced people that he is.

Fascinating. I've never doubted him because of the education system. Do you have any link or anything that says he wasn't basically a saint? That would be a fascinating read.
He was a Socialist.
He extorted companies like Seal Test and Coca Cola to force them to hire all positions based on the racial makeup of their cities where they operated.
He called for reparations for Blacks.
He called for a Guaranteed Middle Class Income for all.
That sounds pretty awesome.

1) The point of diversity is to provide a difference that natural selection can act upon. The better adapted thrive and increase in number. The poorly adapted struggle and are eventually replaced. Political "diversity" is the exact opposite of this and weakens everyone.

Back to unpopular opinions:

Jesus would be a socialist, or at the very least, approving of social welfare such as minimum/living wage, universal healthcare, and if forced to make a decision between the two major US parties, would likely vote Democrat more often than Republican.

Doesn't mean YOU should be that or believe that, or that is the best thing for America. Just likely what he would be if he was alive in 2020.

Also in that regard, Lincoln would not be a Republican either.

The New Testament teaches to kick people who don't work out of the church. It lays out guidelines that the only people the church is to take care of indefinitely is widows who are too old to re-marry and be cared for by their new husband, and who have no other family unit to take care of them. That doesn't sound like socialism or UBI to me.

Putting aside the issues of abortion, freeing slaves, passing civil rights legislation etc,

Second Thessalonians chapter 3, verse 10:

"'for even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: if a man will not work, he shall not eat."

I fully expect to see a form of communism in heaven where those present have been made perfect.....but clearly communism requires a level of human perfection that can't be achieved on earth....see Cain and Abel and every communist regime and small, utopian society that many has been created on earth.

So you think that Jesus would promote forcibly taking money from one group of people and giving it to others?

Have you thought about this longer than 2 minutes? (apparently not)

You may of course think what you like--this thread is encouraging all to express their perspectives.

Don't know about the gay for life thing either for guys or for girls, but I haven't seen any evidence of people leaving that lifestyle behind successfully. I think it is a combination of being poisoned by a certain fruit as well as finding a sense of belonging in a cultural lifestyle type group. I have known quite a few that have gone that direction and haven't seen much deviation from my observation.

I discovered a while back that I am more libertarian in my belief system, which allows me much freedom to listen to and yet disagree with others, and get along with them while not condoning or endorsing their beliefs or approach.

So you think Jesus would vote for the party that advocates abortion and sexual perversions?

I'm not saying he would be a Republican, but he sure wouldn't vote Democrat.

Honestly, though, I have a feeling that if Jesus were here again, he'd just establish himself as King of all the world

Abolish welfare and the minimum wage and then the labor supply will explode keeping housing prices low.

This and a civics test to vote would honestly solve all of the world's problems.

Those two requirements would ensure that only reasonably intelligent people would vote which, frankly, is how it should be.

My 1st most politically incorrect opinion is in the OP. My 2nd is that our problem isn't that we don't have enough voters. It's that too many people vote.

The world would be better if only the top 25% of folks voted.

That shouldn't even be a controversial view.
