This is not a viable long term solution. This country is trending towards collapse and the ones doing it are the most disproportionately removed from the consequences of such an outcome. You have to tie voting rights back to the most able and invested in some capacity. If we don't, our softness as a society will lead to war and out of it arise Chinese invasio or a marxist government.

Voting can't be "feel" based any longer. This much is becoming very apparent. Instead we have to view voting as essentially a form of war. We need to start rethinking conservative ideology around what's actually in the balance.

Additionally, I would not want someone in my loved ones nursing home "assisting" them in voting. If I thought they were competent to take care and make decisions for themselves, I probably wouldn't have them in a nursing home.

These are touchy issues that can very easily get into "slippery slope" territory.

Florida has early voting where people can vote, mostly without a wait, at handicap accessible locations. I think it works pretty well.

You drop it off at one of a few very specific lock boxes in your area, either police station or town hall, etc. that is monitored.

I'd be very happy if every eligible voter took part in an election, legally.

Again, the goal here is accuracy, infallibility and to produce votes that are least likely to be corrupted.

The simplist way to get there is an in person vote for as many people as possible. That alone will drop the majority of issues our current set up faces (signature requirements/lack thereof, postmark dates, days counted after election day, vote harvesting, dead voters, lost ballots, a ****ty usps and so on and so on).


But i find it very troubling that i was disenfranchised by that old lady in san Antonio who had a campaign worker essentially vote for her.

Again, this isnt complicated. Voting in person is not difficult. It's more secure. It's more trustworthy. It's probably more accurate and leads to clearer results.

So they can find enough votes to make the EV win by Biden insurmountable so any challenge by Trump will be viewed as senseless

Martha says the Trump camp claim is that 600k are out standing that are 60% for Trump. Their analyst just simply disagrees.

This is where I am right now It's basically a movie for me. I'm not gonna stress about vote counts and CNN calling it or any of that nonsense because none of it matters. What matters is the outcome, which won't be determined today or tomorrow or when CNN calls it. It will be when the EC votes, or the courts rule, whichever is required.

Somebody yesterday called it "goat-fck" kabuki theater, and that's how I'm treating it. A really wild political thriller movie. Nothing more at this point.

They are not "magically" finding votes. And IF they are, they will be caught and dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.

Trump is asking for a recount and challenge. It'll play itself out. I'd like to think elections are still fair.

Georgia still has 6% (307k votes) of the ballots left to count and Trump is only leading by 0.2% (50k votes).

They should probably go ahead and call North Carolina to Trump, though.
