Trust me. That's exactly what I've done for the previous 16 years up until this year.
And exit polling (how reliable that is who knows) in multiple states showed Trump getting 95% of the Republican vote, which was higher than 2016.
Down ballot R wins should align with R votes for President and vice versa.
