I understand that it makes them feel really counterculture and smug to "vote their conscience" and not be a sheep, but helping elect the worst possible set of candidates for libertarian values isn't something I would feel particularly good about right now if I were them.

Wisconsin allows same day voter registration That always felt sketchy to me but those are the rules.

I was telling people for a year that Republicans should have been putting money into the R candidate for Senate in NM. He came within 5% of winning with very little support. He may actually be closer than McSally will end up.

Democrats are smart in pouring tons of money into senate races in hoping to flip a few. We should have devoted some resources there.

In this state. There are also states where the third most ballots went to write ins.

And if anything, it looks like more of the gold vote went blue than red. Gold votes are down percentage wise nationally and blue are up.

Supposedly they are supposed to separate those votes and keep a running total of the ones that fall into this category. My guess is that someone will "accidentally" put the pile with all of the others.

Kind of like the old clip where the student goes up to the professor and throws his test and all the other tests in the air.

Looks like Maricopa and Yuma counties are the last ones to have not fully reported, but they're close. I don't think there's enough votes left in either. Maricopa is already +400k from 2016 with 99.46% of precincts reporting. Yuma is simply too small.

I get that you are just SOOO noble and independent in wanting to vote for somebody with no chance to accomplish anything. Congrats on being so principled. I just find it fascinating that a group that is supposedly all about personal freedoms and individual rights can't put aside their own quest for principled nobility long enough to vote against the single biggest threat to individual liberties and freedoms that has come along in at least half a century. Makes it pretty clear that in that 1.5%, the commitment to being counter culture warriors is far more important than the actual commitment to individual liberty and freedom.

Nope. Currently 3mm less gold votes than 2016.
