Also, this should be a lesson to libertarians on how close this can be. You may not like Republicans because they aren't conservative enough for you, but by choosing principle over practicality, you get something far worse.
Sorry but republicans aren't entitled to the votes of libertarians
No, but they have to own their votes and the net implications. They in effect are voting for progressives regardless of how much they want to peacock about their rebellious 3rd party vote.Bunk Moreland said:ABATTBQ11 said:

Just have to hang on until 2024. Harris would get steamrolled by any worthy candidate.

If you can't beat a literally walking corpse how can you have any confidence about beating Harris.

Because next time, they won't be voting against Trump.

Alright, enough doomsaying from me.
What numbers are y'all seeing right now? My usual Twitter heads are still asleep or keeping quiet at the moment.
How does Trump win this.
Yea, this is what I want to know. The country will be fine if the Rs keep the Senate. If they don't, President Harris is going to push through some harmful, expensive policies.gggmann said:
Are we gong to keep the Senate? I just went to RCP and clicked on Senate w/ no tossups and it showed 50/50 which means we are screwed w/ Harris being a swing vote.

The cycle continues.
Let this be a warning libs. No amount of being a tech programmer, community organizer, lawyer, or stay at home, suburban parent will save you from being outside the inevitable top tier that will tell us all what is "good" for us. You all continue to vote with your feelings thinking that "this time" government control will not lead to corruption and tyranny.
History will prove you wrong.

I mean IMO (not that it matters)... A lot of what happened in this election is based on Trump's character and general perception to be a bully. He's not very likeable, especially to those with thin skin. Roll out someone who has the same platform but doesn't come across like an a-hole and you probably get the votes needed to win.

Libertarian here. I'm happy with my vote. If forced to pick between the two it probably would have been Biden. Republicans stopped caring about conservative fiscal policy a long time ago.
However, I am happy that if Biden wins it looks like a R controlled senate and Supreme Court. Maybe they'll have to work together on some things.
