Has someone ever won FL and OH and lost the election?
Trump has completely thrown traditional polling and election theory on their heads. Will be interesting to see if this is a fluke specific to him, or actual permanent change in the electorate in future elections.bthotugigem05 said:

I don't see a fair election ever being held again...PWestAg18 said:Trump has completely thrown traditional polling and election theory on their heads. Will be interesting to see if this is a fluke specific to him, or actual permanent change in the electorate in future elections.bthotugigem05 said:

As of right now, Republicans have won or lead in 218 house races. Democrats have won or lead in 217. I expect that Democrats will "find" the votes to win enough to keep the House Democrat, but it may be even closer than the 225-210 I was thinking.Captn_Ag05 said:Still several races yet to be called, but like around a 225-210 Dem majority in the House. Assuming a Republican controlled senate with that close of a margin in the house, it will be difficult for much to happen.Gilligan said:How much of a gain?Captn_Ag05 said:
A GOP Senate will at least avoid court packing and adding Senate seats for DC and Puerto Rico (for now). We have made real gains in the house, so it will be a very closely-divided house.
In brighter news, Texas state house will stay Republican, so they will be in charge of redrawing the congressional map. We will get 2 (maybe 3) new house seats, so that it huge for the state and the party to have Republicans controlling that process.

MI and WI are gone. If there was a miracle Trump surge in Arizona, he would still win with PA, NC, and GA. I think he will get the latter three. I just don't see him pulling it out in Arizona.tsuag10 said:
We should know AZ, MI, WI, and GA today, correct? I know PA is a cluster, but he could still win without PA.

MI likely to vote their POS governor back into office. Just like MN re-elected Ihlan back to senate in a landslide.
Yes, just seems unlikely based on everything I've been reading on Texags.H2Ag said:
PA + AZ + GA + NC = trump, correct?
I actually feel pretty good about WI, MI, and GA. Call me crazy.Captn_Ag05 said:MI and WI are gone. If there was a miracle Trump surge in Arizona, he would still win with PA, NC, and GA. I think he will get the latter three. I just don't see him pulling it out in Arizona.tsuag10 said:

Me too, I don't see Trump just rolling over on the fraud.tsuag10 said:I actually feel pretty good about WI, MI, and GA. Call me crazy.Captn_Ag05 said:MI and WI are gone. I'm usually a big proponent of States' Rights, but I think the feds need to set a standard the states have to follow for federal elections. I think it's kinda ridiculous different states can pick and choose rules for an election that determines President, Congress, and/or Senate. State and local stuff can be left to the state to do whatever they want.Gilligan said:I don't see a fair election ever being held again...PWestAg18 said:Trump has completely thrown traditional polling and election theory on their heads. Wtf is Nevada stopping their count? Trump pulls it within a couple thousand and the machines wind down to a stop. Preposterous. These states have forever damaged whatever confidence we still had in the integrity of our elections.
