Expected. You're seeing the consolidation of a long-term coalition shift between the R and D parties. The Rs moving forward are going to be a civic pride, small business, working class party while the Ds will consolidate with professional classes. It will be interesting to see if the Rs can make hay with Hispanic/Black voters moving forward.
