You have it backwards. Trump's margins today (+9) have been half what he needed (+18) to pull ahead.
If in fact there are 120k outstanding ballots left to be counted, then Trump is still perfectly on track to win. Running the numbers Trump is only down 16,895 votes. This means he needs a net +14 points to win, or in other words 57.07% of the vote for the remaining 120k ballots.
I don't know how this guy got his numbers, but I think his math is flawed. Probably a bad game of telephone.
Edit: I guess I misunderstood, if 45k have been counted out of the 120k total, then Trump only needs to win 61.133% of the outstanding 75k ballots (net +22.456 points). Thats still really doable. Not really much of a break from the previous pace.
