Thank you for waiting until you actually knew something.
The greatest argument ever made against democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter.

Amen! There is a terrible notion being pushed by the left that voting is inherently virtuous. It isn't. It's the act of knowingly voting FOR THE BEST CANDIDATES / POLICIES thats virtuous. If you're voting for redistribution into your own pocket you're acting sinfully.

I voted for the first time since I voted for Ralph Hall as my Democrat congressmen. Hall later switched to being a Republican and was probably more Republican than most Republicans as a Democrat.

Congrats, I'm 32 as well and voted for the first time week and a half ago. Bought my Trump Train 2020 ticket, not getting off until 2024.

I turned 40 this year. I had not voted once in my entire life. I felt that politics we a sham and all the candidates were about the same. Looking back can anyone really say W was so different than a Democrat at the time?

This is the first time in my life that I have felt there is a clear line between good and evil in an election that will truly influence the future of this country and everyone in it.

I pretty much swore I would never view for anyone.

Some one like me is as extreme add they get for a typical nonvoter. If they got me to vote they got damn near everyone to vote.

The polls didn't count on people like us showing up.

I will be saying the same thing tomorrow. Turned 32 in September. I have been apolitical my whole life and my lib sisters cannot fathom why the first time I finally decide to register and vote, it is for Trump. I sent them pics from the rally Sunday in a group chat and one actually left the chat! I thought "OMG my own sisters really are sensitive little snowflakes!" The thought that they are going to cut me off both infuriates me and strengthens my resolve by highlighting the left's hate and division.

I voted for W in 2000 when I was 18.

Haven't voted for a major party since then, until now.

I understand what you guys are saying.

Congrats on voting.

BTW, there are a few phrases that need to be removed from use by adults. "I was today years old..." and "I did a thing today."

my uncle was the same way (78 years old). He always said he didn't vote so he didn't have to go to jury duty. He just never had a dog in the hunt in his opinion.

You both went the way Scott Adams of Dilbert had. And it seems very little of it is for Kamala-Biden.

This could be a very large x factor in addition to the minority vote percentage (whatever it ends up being) leaving the Democrat plantation.

Conversation this morning with a young person of color (26 yrs old) in which he told me he went to vote on Friday for the first time. He was very proud to say he voted for Trump! After praising him for voting I asked how he made his decision to support Trump. It seems he felt belittled by the media and Dems insistence that he must support Biden because he is a person of color. He also said he didn't see how someone who had already spent 47 years in office was going to make any significant changes in four more years. Lastly, he said "As a Texan, ain't no body gonna take my guns!" Interesting thought process!
