Former White House chief of staff, retired Marine Gen. John Kelly, has told friends that President Donald Trump "is the most flawed person" he's ever known.

"The depths of his dishonesty is just astounding to me. The dishonesty, the transactional nature of every relationship, though it's more pathetic than anything else. He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life," the retired Marine general has told friends, CNN has learned.

The reporting comes from a new CNN special scheduled to air Sunday night, "The Insiders: A Warning from Former Trump Officials," in which former senior administration officials -- including former national security adviser John Bolton, former Health and Human Services scientist Rick Bright and former Department of Homeland Security general counsel John Mitnick -- explain why they think the President is unfit for office.

Kelly's sentiments about the President's transactional nature and dishonesty have been shared by other former members of the Trump administration who also appear in the special.

Trump is a flawed man who doesn't do nearly as good a job hiding his flaws as many other politicians. There is no doubt about either of those things.

But the interesting thing about Trump supposedly being unfit for office is that the criticism in 2016 was meant to show that he couldn't be relied upon, and indeed was dangerous, in foreign affairs. Remember the attempts to show him as a guy who would start a war out of a petty vendetta?

But Trump has been strong in foreign affairs and not at all a danger to his country. He's done some really good things which don't get the attention they deserved, and I'd love to see what he can do with China if given another four years. That is looming as what should be a big battle which we have already lost if we elect Biden.

Even in this CNN hit piece you have criticism from a couple of guys who interacted w Trump largely in matters of foreign affairs. That makes the criticism read as overblown and hollow.

Obama purged the officer corps of anyone who wasn't a dedicated leftist.

He wanted officers who would follow the order to have their troops open fire on American civilians when the time comes.

Retired Military Officers are subject to Article 2 and Article 88 of the UCMJ.

It would be quite pleasing to me to see these gutless retired generals prosecuted under the UCMJ.

Odds of this happening .....nil.

The bottom line is people like Kelly and Bolton just don't know how to handle someone who is unorthodox in the DC way of doing things. To them, it comes across as chaotic and I have no doubt that it is chaotic at times working for Trump. it doesn't mean he's unfit to lead, just means he has a different style of leadership that they couldn't adapt to. He hasn't nuked other countries or been reckless with starting wars and risking US lives like some of the so called experts said he would.

Remember, most of the idiots like Vindman and others that testified at Trump's impeachment hearings were doing so because they didn't want to implement Trump's vision but rather their own and were disgruntled because he upset the natural order.

Or Nancy Pelosi, for heaven's sake. She almost single-handed made Obama's admin tryannical and is the real reason Trump was elected: 2010, Dems in House cast out; 2014 Dems in Senate cast out, 2016 Dems &Rino swampers alike, rejected, and Trump elected.

The private corporate business world is cutthroat and rapid paced, DC politics is slower paced comparatively. Trump working and being on the attack all the time is too much for 95% of the swamp. They want the more take our time pace of the last few presidents.

Trump has a sense of urgency you wouldnt believe; he is the CEO of America that wants stuff done yesterday.

Google President Trump daily schedule.

A flawed person does not have the work ethic at 74yo to knock out a campaign schedule youthful rock bands would envy.
