Haters will call it an outlier that's biased.

They are overdoing it. People are going to stay home that would otherwise vote for Biden.

The only way to get away with rampant voter fraud is the try to convince the leftists that they were going to win in a landslide, then farm the ballots until that happens.

I think they are making the case that any trump victory is illegitimate because the polls were so big for Biden

It's this. After all the fuss they made about Trump refusing to accept their outcome of the election they are giving Biden an excuse to refuse to accept the outcome of the election.

The far left media creates modern polls to try and sway opinions and votes, not as factual information. They have less basis in reality than the fairy tales I used to read to my kids.

The leader in fake news also uses their fake polls to try and depress/supress Republican voters by discouraging them.

Best to see them for what they are and ignore as garbage propaganda.

I think this is awesome. It will result in low turnout for the left if they think Biden is going to win.

The CNN Poll was conducted by SSRS October 1 through 4 among a random national sample of 1,205 adults reached on landlines or cellphones by a live interviewer, including 1,001 likely voters. Results for the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.3 percentage points, it is plus or minus 3.6 points for results among likely voters.

+16 by any candidate means winning 45+ states and possibly all 50.

This country is far too polarized for that to happen, short of massive voter fraud.

That's a Reagan / Mondale spread. Does anyone really believe Biden wins 49 states?

A total of 1,205 adults were interviewed by telephone nationwide by live interviewers calling both landline and cell phones. Interviews were conducted in English and Spanish. Among the entire sample, 33% described themselves as Democrats, 28% described themselves as Republicans, and 39% described themselves as independents or members of another party.

5 point built in advantage for Democrats and I'm guessing about 30 of those 39% independents are concerned moderates, Green Party, Communists, Socialists, Libertarians, and others with TDS. That 39% is also likely a gross oversampling of that crowd. No way 39% of Americans do not identify with either of the main parties.

Yep. The pollsters said months ago that they're polling urban areas far more this time than in 2016, because they expect (no reason why given) the rural vote will be down substantially in 2020.

And don't forget, CNN had a poll in late October, 2016 that had Hillary up by 12.

Polls like this are far worse than that. The Libs are laying the groundwork for delegitimizing any vote for Trump and polls like this will be cited as proof of the fraud.

The Dems are planning to steal this election by any means necessary.

Among the entire sample, 33% described themselves as Democrats, 28% described themselves as Republicans, and 39% described themselves as independents or members of another party. All respondents were asked questions concerning basic demographics, and the entire sample was weighted to reflect national Census figures for gender, race, age, education, region of country, and telephone usage.
So....they over sample Democrats and Independents, then they manipulate the results to match national demographics.

But how about this little Easter Egg, hidden deep in the report?

Quote:

P1. Suppose that the presidential election were being held today and you had to choose between Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party's candidates, and Donald Trump and Mike Pence as the Republican Party's candidates. Who would you be more likely to vote for?

As of today, do you lean more toward...

People of color: Biden 72% Trump 25%

Pretty substantial swing from 2016, when the black vote went 88/8 for Hillary.

This. They are suppressing their own turnout. Couple that with the lack of a ground game by Team Biden, a party platform full of raising taxes and stupid climate change nonsense and this is the most counter-intuitive campaign strategy I believe I have ever seen.

I's almost like they are trying to lose to cause more rioting.
