Test #2 had like 7 or 8 stacks/de-stacks.

Love that our new president is taking an interest in what SpaceX is doing. I pray it all goes well and the booster is captured safely again.

Something tells me all those FAA delays are going to be a thing of the past.

Lower level wind shear looks a bit iffy for tomorrow. Probably won't affect the launch but it is way more wind than last time for the catch.

Still looks like a go right now but something to watch for tomorrow.

Approximately 8 months ago volume was less than 150k/day. The day after the election it was 20,000,000.

Price shot up 4x.

Not sure how much of it is tied Space X

At $135 per share, the estimate I've seen is a valuation of $235B, which is about 10x the 2022 valuation.. And Elon still owns about 50%, sooooo...

Just IPO already Elon! I get why he hasn't, given what went down in the other public companies he's been involved with. Actually would be awesome if SpaceX were the first company listed on the Texas stock exchange in a year or three.

For now, the best way to invest in SpaceX is to buy $DXYZ; 37% of their portfolio is invested in SpaceX. They also hold Axiom Space and OpenAI.

No the SEC involvement alone isn't worth it. I can't imagine having to go through SOX compliance while trying to rapidly innovate. Ugh. You think the FAA is bad... yeah just keep trucking.

The objectives for Starship Flight 6 are:

1. Restart of Raptor engines in vacuum.
2. Daylight landing of the ship.
3. Higher peak heating (steeper) reentry.
4. Faster/harder booster catch.

There are thousands of small design changes also being tested.

Faster/harder booster catch? I get wanting to know the limits, but until the second tower is ready to use this seems risky. Then again, guys like Elon seem to thrive on risk and pushing the envelope.

I suspect they are talking about the final part of the descent where the booster almost went into a hover over the tower before descending to the catch. Probably trying to minimize that hover.

Same diameter of 9m (~30 ft), but longer and at least 2 versions.

The propellant tanker version will be especially heavy, as the payload volume in the forward section will mostly contain propellant.

Thrust goal will be ~10k tons (3X Saturn V) and liftoff mass of tanker…
