Any idea how many people are making the trip down there? Traffic jam numbers?
I'm still a little shocked they haven't managed to get a judge to block it on the weekend in some form of emergency petition. As much money as those groups throw around to do things like stop 87 from being rebuilt...

Judging by how crowded the Tesla superchargers are on the way down, it's gonna be crowded, mainly bc Isla Blanca is such a great spot to watch, everyone will be concentrated there.
Woke up this morning in the RGV and it's super windy. Hopefully the weather is good tomorrow.
I'll make it down there around 9pm tonight. Get a bit of sleep then head to the jetties around 5am if I can't figure out a better place to watch.
I'm going to try to work remotely tomorrow. I've got a portable battery to run a computer all day but I doubt my cell carrier will be able to handle all the extra people down there.

I have a suspicion their plan is to send it before offices open and before any challenges can be made.
So let's suppose they plan an early morning launch. That means fueling at what? 4 am? What do they do if some judge issues an injunction at 7am and they are at T-15? Stop? Ignore it? Not answer the phone? Say "sorry, we got word too late."?

Ideally it would be off the pad before the offices open.
If they get informed before launch that they have to halt, then I guess they'd halt it if they can.

That's fine. If the launch stops, the environmentalists have to pay to refuel it before they can file another injunction.
Why is everyone so concerned about a lawsuit? Has there been any noise from groups opposed to the launch?

Ugh I've been working all day and will probably working until around 5 am I dont think I'm going to try and stay up until 7 to catch a glimpse of this from offshore galveston.

That's very low wind at atmosphere. I'd be shocked if that was somehow out of limits for them at 30k.
I think the highest wind above 30k I've flown in was close to 200 kts
Yeah I know it's low, just looking to see what their wind concerns mentioned earlier were about. It's either at the launch site or the re-entry site
