What is your tolerance level of proudly displaying a political stance vs having someone **** with your yard / house / car / you ?

Put one up, it's past time we start pushing back. Plus I bet a few more Trump signs pop up nearby after.

You might want to attach it to the ground like the one guy that put a rod in the ground and locked the sign to it or something similar. Plus I would get a copy of the HOA **** and make sure you are following everything to the letter so they can't complain.

Also if the HOA President is on your property don't be afraid to call the cops on him for trespassing.

Would any of your other neighbors put signs? If you can get a groundswell of people (5+) it will become more difficult for the HOA to act. Doesn't need to be on same street. But if 10 Trump signs go up in the neighborhood and the HOA has to come after all of you.

If the HOA does, find a friendly lawyer to write them a nice letter about their harassment for your freedom of speech and political views or something.

If you really want to make a stand with a Trump sign, just plan as well as you can for the ****heads in your HOA. Be ready with a reasonable response for everything they think you will do.

In this situation, though I have never had political yard signs, I'd recommend a Trump sign, a rainbow/gay rights/love wins sign, and also a sign that hate has no home here.

The combination will absolutely confuse/bamboozle/enrage the communists complaining about you. A blue lives matter American flag from the doorstep would be a nice final complement.

Many HOA's have enforceable rules against signs, the type, size and how long they can be posted. (no one reads that crap) Political signs normally fall under state laws. HOA's have gone overboard. To change the HOA covenant, it cost the HOA thousands of dollars and a long process however, many are outdated. The states need to find away to allow better management laws.
