My running theory here is that the rust belt union machines are not taking DNC calls. And the DNC had relied on them for GOTV for 40 years and the rust belt state DNC officials don't really know how to pivot. Meanwhile, Trump team has continued cultivating for 4 straight years.

That is 100% their plan. Limit Biden's exposure, and hope Trump does something stupid.

And in all honesty, that is likely their best course of action. Data shows most of the Dem support is Anti-Trump, not pro-Biden. They need to hope Trump blows it, because Biden isnt going to do something to win it.

as no great Trump fanboy at the time, it was obvious he was out trying to win the vote of the entire rust belt while Hillary was running around California and NYC with her fanbois and ducking any real questions. I can't remember the stat but it was something like 30+ days where she hadn't taken a question from the press.

As many foibles as Trump has, he was relentless during that time and going to places like Detroit, trying to win the black vote and all over the midwest trying to win union votes as a Republican that was labeled a racist.

They 'think' (which in Dem speak always really means 'feel') they're winning, and believing the polls. He's very likely to get angry right now, if he's in an even more confused than usual mode, on camera so they're keeping him off.

The other interesting part of their strategy is that they apparently realize people don't like listening to Kamala either. She's also locked up and has held zero pressers since being nominated/chosen. It's basically a prevent defense halfway into the third quarter.

The best hope for biden is that people vote for him because he is not trump.

Harris is the real presidential candidate. I don't know why there is all this care about what Biden is doing.

What really concerns me is that the Democrats don't really seem to care if Biden makes a fool of himself or bothers to show up. That tells me they are placing their emphasis on a major cheating event. We've already seen the groundwork laid with the extended deadlines in WI, MI, and PA, plus ballot mishandling. I think they are going to cheat, and cheat big, in those swing states and "elect" Biden.

I can only hope that somehow, somewhere, there are enough good guys who can stop the bad guys from getting away with it.

They are not. They have ramped up their cheating. They are basing their victory on cheating. But, for cheating to work. They have to have a certain level of a base vote.

They can use their MSM and social media censorship to get the small amount actual votes needed. They don't want Bden to duck that up.
