I practice MMA and BJJ. I'm not good, but I know that there are few things as dangerous as a blue belt or higher BJJ practitioner on the ground. I would point a few things out. Fighters fight for the most part like other fighters. This causes some elements of "dance" or "flow" in a fight that a BJJ practiced expects. Lebron wouldn't play that dance/flow out of ignorance of the style. Lebron is a finely tuned athlete and he's absolutely massive and strong. It would be a good fight imho.

?w=640&h=480&crop=1100% this, BJJ is easily the best "true" martial art where a much smaller opponent can F you up. The "dance/flow" might buy you some time in a boxing match, but not against a double-leg takedown after being leg kicked a dozen times.AlexNguyen said:Warbledwrassler said:

I don't think so. I teach and practice MA myself, some BJJ with the adults. I've had athletes come in before, a NCAA football player once. They are strong and athletic but a lot of that is neutralized up close. And they will be fighting with someone that understands leverage and weakpoints of joints. MMA fighting is not about catching a ball and running away from pursuers.

Colby is ~200-205 lbs walking aroundTxTarpon said:
Colby 32, 5'11" 170lbs.
Lebron 35, 6'8", 250lbs
Might be worth watching.
Lebron will not have to jump high to put a knee in this guys gut.
A few well done kicks to the leg might bring down King James like a tree.
I watch UFCQuote:
Know how I know you don't watch MMA?

I would pay top PPV money to see lebron get his ass kicked
is there a political reason (BLM?) behind their feud (i do not follow espn, so no clue).
Who also absolutely had sex with lebron's mom...GE said:Really sad story with Delonte. Great basketball player who was on some really good teams and made a lot of money who is legitimately a street addict now.thirdcoast said:
Delonte West was a former LeBron teammate who banged LeBron's mom!!!
Lol this is gonna be good if press keeps it goin. My guess is the press is gonna get called racist if they do keep this fued alive and ask LeBron to respond.

That's just the weight that he has to be at weigh in time the day before the fight. Most guys in the 170 pound division are 180+ on fight night and 190-210 when not actively training for a fight.TxTarpon said:I was reading his UFC statsQuote:

The more I see and hear LeBron James the more impressed I am. He grew up with no advantages except height, athleticism, basketball skills, and private schooling. For him to have come so far in life is really a marvel.
Lets do the MMA fight first with 15 minute one-on-one game the same week. The commie punk might not be able to see by the time the scheduled b-ball game came up.Get Off My Lawn said:
Colby should offer a "home-and-home."
Losing 250-0 would be worth it to break James' orbital socket and ribs in a 15 second fight.

The guys that spar with Colby would destroy Lebron. This would be the worst fight in the history of sanctimony & hubris...deskdrawer said:
