Wasn't expecting that.

I've been expecting them to come after him and Trump's family on the lying to Congress schtick, but not this. His show at night has been pretty damned good, and to my knowledge, accurate.

Interesting thing to me is Bannon gets popped, now who on the left is about to get popped? Optics that it isn't political are set. Only half-joking.

Who's in charge of the DOJ? You're right, they're doing a bad job, whoever they are.

If someone organizes what I assume is a non profit are there rules and laws around how much they can pay themselves?
If we are going down the path of busting up non-profits that "excessively" enrich their organizers/management, I could be on board with that.

I agree, but recent history (say the last five years) gives me pause.

Not to mention the fact I suspect he's pretty bright, so if he was going to use a defrauding tactic, he's be a little better at it.

All that information is supposed to be presented in the 990. Thought being, if you are a non-profit paying a ton toward salaries, you donors need to know and be able to see that.


Where these guys went wrong is by lying on that 990, and throwing representing their personal salary (aka money to employees) as expenses.


It works the same way in for-profit fraud. You know exactly how much high level people get paid, their shares, etc etc. You work within the truth, you can make a **** ton of money. You lie though and start using the company to pay off personal expenses. You are going to club-fed.
