I got the following from a study discussing the rise of toxic femininity. I thought given the OP's article these findings should also be considered.

Studies have shown that human females share many common traits with their female animal counterparts. As is found in the animal kingdom Human females can be somewhat unpredictable and dangerous when not handled appropriately. These traits are more often than not tied to hormonal shifts and swings common to all females including the human variety.

As is the case with a multitude of female mammal species removal of the reproductive organs normally leads to a much more stable subject. A subject that's less effected by emotional swings and personality abnormalities. it reduces hormonal swings that can become violent rages and/or result in personality disorders etc.... all of which can and do occur during typical menstrual cycles of female mammals including the Human species.

Additionally; such procedures have the added benefits of not only avoiding these changes in mood and temperment during the typical menstrual cycles but; also those that often time occur after child birth. The procedure generally lowers all mood and hormone swings, and also effectually takes menopause out of the equation, thus alleviating a 5 to sometimes 10 year period of life where the female becomes an even more bitter, mean spirited, hateful and sometimes violent disruptive creature.
