Makes minimal to no sense for NYC now, though. They have a good immunity built up. An outsider shouldn't cause a major spike. It's becoming more tyranny and control than common sense at this point.

I think it is funny after the urban Progs on the east coast initially dismissed the threat, and got this thing running rampant in their packed urban centers with their mass transit systems, then shut everything down, sending people fleeing across the country from those cities, they have the gall to block entry from people from all the other states their own residents and travelers fled to and spread the disease to.

Kind of kills the vacation in NYC.

He's not keeping people out, I just dealt with this for work.

They have you fill out paperwork when you're flying into NY. They use the info YOU FILL OUT to contact you and make sure you're not sick and/or trying to stay as isolated as possible.

It's a crock of sh/t, like all things COVID.

A joke? Yes. Everything about COVID is, especially in NY.

But, they don't have a way to keep people out nor forcibly quarantined. JFK is a dead airport, though. 99% of the shops are closed, same for food court. My numerous plane rides (flew from PHX to Orlando last night) have been relatively lightly-filled. Back to the Cuomo thing. He has his state health dept workers calling people all day long. I got called because I listed Charlotte as my layover. They called a few days, then stopped when they finally realized 45 mins < 24 hours, the time needed in a "hot spot" to warrant quarantine. I had flown from Detroit, with MI not on the list.

Again, if you really want to avoid it, since YOU fill it out...know the states and fill it in accordingly to avoid the issue. It's an absolutely stupid attempt at virtue signaling that his murderous ass is doing something.

You know? I was not one to play a system for my own pecuniary benefit. But when the "system" is so stupid, it invites such behavior, eh.

This is the left's plan to replace Biden with Cuomo. By shutting down everything, NYC suffers, but he doesnt care, if he looks good by shutting down everything and deaths get down to nearly nothing in NYC. He will claim that is how this should have been handled, but many New Yorkers will be unemployed and require greater government assistance for the next POS liberal mayor who replaces him.

1) He killed 100's by sticking CV+ patients in nursing homes

2) He closed down several key subway runs making the remaining runs more packed

3) They were very slow to enforce anything
