I get that, but not exactly going to give a good look to this administration. They've been able to make excuses up to this point. Having him flail away isn't going to instill confidence that the dems have it under control. But I'm looking at it from a never dem point of view so maybe the sheeples don't see it that way.

If they can pump him full of enough chemicals for him to be lucid for 90 minutes, Biden on auto pilot is going to look better in a debate than Trump.

Biden is a lifelong politician; this is the kind of thing he has done forever. If they can get him lucid enough for the muscle memory to kick in (no small feat) he is going to be better with policy, etc, than Trump.

Trump isn't a policy guy, and the media will give no weight to his one liners, zingers and "burns" directed at their guy. And even if what Biden says is technically incorrect, he will get credit for "sounding" right and talking about policy. A debate format just isn't Trump's best setting.

As for the title of this thread, and now posting this after the "debate", he no longer appears to be getting worse. He's hit the bottom.

It's bad, like really bad, but if you've ever experienced a person in end stage dementia then you would know that he still has a long way to go to the bottom.

He's really sick.

This was scripted so that when the new candidate is announced, who will be much younger, they can pivot to, Trump will be as old as Biden in 2028, we can't afford another dementia President.
