I really question his family and why they don't intervene at some point. If my father was exhibiting such clear signs of cognitive dysfunction I would stage an intervention or something to try to get him to exit public life. It's really sad and I am embarrassed for them.

If Biden gets elected, his VP (minority socialist female) and cabinet are going to use the 25th amendment to remove him. That's the play here.
