Does Tarrant flip in November?
That is an abnormal jump in # of voters. Especially for a primary.

Primary where almost every statewide R is going to a runoff.

Good data to watch but not a sign of a dramatic turn yet.

Democrat turnout is probably up because of the high profile Johnson/Allred race.

Very interesting. Trump must have been running some greats ads in RGV. That is a massive 8 year swing. The dems should give up on their make Texas blue wet dream

Harris was a terrible candidate, which his why the Biden administration tried to hide his decline and hope people wouldn't care that Biden would not finish his term

Doesn't surprise me at all. I lived in that district for 8 years. That district is heavily Democrat including most of the white people. All of those dense neighborhoods around White Rock Lake are rich, elitist whites who would never vote for the offensive Trump and a whole mess of gays. East Dallas is the Austin of Dallas.

Dallas is lost, man. The lesson from the voting results on this thread are that the top 5 counties (minus Tarrant) plus El Paso are blue and never coming back. It's simply a function of population size and cultural centralization. And I think Tarrant will go blue in the next few elections. It's inevitable.

Why are city people so liberal? I just can't understand how they continue to vote for a party that has embraced socialism and communism.

I've put this on here many times before but the creative class, the government (state/city) workers, and the low income / welfare class gravitate to the urban centers because that's where the funding resides for major cultural endeavors and handouts. Almost all of those people are Democrats.

Not to mention that most well paying jobs are in urban centers. Your average rugged individualist who prefers rural or less urban existence is not a Democrat. Dems are going to naturally flock to urban areas because that's where most of their people are. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy at this point which is why I believe Tarrant County will go blue. A tell-tale sign that you are in trouble and it's time to reconsider where you live is when your city hits 1M people. It's almost guaranteed that you will go blue once you hit that checkpoint. Ft. Worth is right at 1M people right now.

There are obviously exceptions to every rule but this one holds fairly true in the US.
