This is a lie, if you support these narratives and relentlessly post their propaganda, you support the Democrats on this issue. You've chosen evil, own it!

Furthermore your agenda leads to a 2020 Democrat victory, which will put a lying, socialist, gun grabbing, infanticidal maniac in office. I guess that's a win for you?

That's a good talking point from random Twitter dude. But nobody claims lethal aid was not appropriated by Congress starting in 2017, 18, and in 19 after Trump got caught.

He made quick work of that strawman.

Take a deep breath homie. You're taking this way too seriously.

I support rule of law and uncovering the truth. The democrats are right on this issue, so is Amash. I support them on this only.

Don't talk him like that. You can't leave a bag of flaming dog **** on somebody's front porch and NOT expect two barrels of rock salt.

Oh, think see the distinction you are trying to make. For something to be unconstitutional doesn't require that it also be a crime.

It just is ruled unconstitutional ---not necessarily unlawful. This in the sense it is not about law but limits. Is that it?

It's even more fundamental than that. "A Law" has a definition. By definition, the constitution is not a law. Its two
different systems run and put into place by two different branches of government, voted on by two different groups, and governs two different groups.

Which is why chance is in a rhetorical pickle. Violating a law is a crime, by definition.
Violating the constitution is unconstitutional, by definition.

The other pickle he is in: Trump "violated" the constitution according to him. Fine but so has every president, and every congress, and every state since the founding. Which makes the grounds for removal look ****ing pathetic, which is why many constitutional scholars think there should be actual violations of laws and statutes. Even then it should be "high crimes" at the level of bribery or treason.

Giving away a state to another country probably would reach the level of treason, but is closer to sedition. But it's an extreme case he had to jump to, because the "violation of trust" amounts to not giving millions of dollars to a Historically corrupt country. WGAS. Obama droned American citizens fighting for ISIS. Who cares about a rounding error for Ukraine.

Sorry for bleeding all over this thread. But it's simple stuff.
You don't sound like a constitutional lawyer. Here's the opinion of 500.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeltnietzel/2019/12/09/more-than-five-hundred-law-professors-write-a-letter-favoring-impeachment-what-effects-will-it-have/#4bd334cd37d9

Can you find one that says a statutory federal law must be violated in order for an impeachable offense to have been committed?

These are not all law school professors, legal scholars, and certainly not constitutional law experts.

Even if they were all conlaw experts, what about everyone else? There are over 200 law schools in america. There are faculty with backgrounds in law at nearly all of the over 2,500 four year colleges in the U.S. There are nearly 800,000 college level faculty in the country.

Finding 500-1,000 college level faculty that hate trump enough to sign a letter is actually a failure. There are alot more than 500 college level faculty, just on law school campuses, that hate trump. Where are their names?

The data points you use to justify your case are just bizarre to me.

As someone that also desires to have a Trump presidency behind us as a nation. I'm dumbfounded by the lengths that people like you are willing to go to in damaging the republic in order to make it happen. Nothing trump has done or says is as dangerous to our nation as what the media, dems, GOP nevertrumpers, and counter-intellengence has engaged in to bring an end to this outsiders presidency.

To take this a little further. You're in agreement with Democrats about a gotcha that Democrats think they have against Trump; albiet, most rational people realize it's BS and really just an excuse for an impeachment they've been promising since 2016. Assuming you are truly a conservative (which is very doubtful at this point), you can't see the forest for the trees. No one politician is ever going to totally conform to your personal ideology. In this battle of good (conservatives) vs evil (progressives) one must support (at least not aide the opposition) the leadership despite minor ideological differences while that/those leader(s) are in power. To do otherwise is to empower the opposition who is fighting on the side of evil. The time to choose leadership is during the primaries. Make no mistake about it, your current fight is in support of open borders, gun control, socialism, abortion, and high taxes. Basically everything that is the opposite of liberty and anti American. You've chosen evil!

BTW...I take morons stumping for Democrats that want to destroy my way of life, very seriously!

The animosity is almost pathological. From a results standpoint, it's sort of incomprehensible. There is much sanctimony about the means, without any regards for the ends actually achieved versus historical performance of more benign and traditional means.

An independent siding with the Democrat party is not on the side of liberty. Amash is wrong about this one.

Right. In this year, it is functionally a Democrat to do so. Same goes for those NeverTrumpers that talked about switching Democrat. Vote Libertarian if they wish to show disenchantment and don't parrot Dem arguments.
