Trying to catch up here with today being signing day and just a crazy week... obstruction of Congress, is this **** for real?
This phrase is on my list of "what liberals say that tells me I can't communicate with this person."Quote:

Stalin, Marx, and Hitler loved quotes like that.AgFormerlyInIrving said:This phrase is on my list of "what liberals say that tells me I can't communicate with this person."Quote:

Almost always said by a liberal justifying something that is BSC.
I haven't heard the Dems say "bribery" or "extortion" very much today. I recall at the very beginning of today's session a reminder of the rules for decorum when describing President Trump, so I guess it may be deemed to be against the rules since no crimes are actually specified in the articles themselves.4stringAg said:
The fact that they are constantly bringing up the Constitution, that they are patriots, saying the pledge, pretending to be solemn, etc is all the proof you need that they have no confidence in their sham impeachment. They are executing an acting job, not an impeachment proceeding. If the facts and history were truly on their side, they really wouldn't have to drape themselves in the flag at this point.
I hope so. I'd like to see him and Collins both at the trial. Probably more so I'd like to see Collins.aggiehawg said:
Is Jordan going to brought in for the grande finale?
I'd expect to see him near or at the very end.justcallmeharry said:
"The only thing President Trump is guilty of, is not being Hillary Clinton."
About 4 hours or so, I think. Collins asks every so often how much time each side has left. Last I heard it was about 2 hours each.chevy con queso said:
How much longer is this supposed to go on before we get to an actual motion to vote?
Thanks. I haven't been following all morning so I'm lost.aggiehawg said:

The House is poised to vote to impeach President Trump around the same time he takes the stage for a campaign rally in Michigan, setting the stage for a dramatic spit-screen moment.
The House passed the rule around noon Wednesday that sets up six hours of debate on two articles of impeachment accusing Trump of abusing his office and obstructing Congress. The vote on the articles is likely to come sometime between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
