Don't be surprised if 1 or more Bushes are/were involved. Was never convinced they were TRUE conservatives but always seemed to 'move' (vote) depending on which way the wind ($) blew to their advantage. Always a little too friendly with Bill, Hillary and the Obongos.LOYAL AG said:Agree. Going into the election I believed Trump was as much an insider as Hillary. It wasn't until I saw how poorly the Reps responded to their unexpected win that I realized that he generally is an outsider and that the establishment is in fact more important than anything to these people. We just may find out that Obama, Hillary and McCain orchestrated this thing. For his part Obama will say he read about it in the news when the rest of us did and Hillary will say it's old news and makes no difference now. The media will buy it to protect their heroes which will leave us blaming the dead guy.Charpie said:

LOL. Wish they used a different term but that's the legal term for separate teams from the prosecutors. If you recall, during the Michael Cohen case, they had separate teams because of all of the attorney-client stuff contained in the seized materials. Later on, a Special Master was appointed to go through that evidence.Saltwater Assassin said:aggiehawg said:

Not arguing...but aren't there two Durham's with the same first name...one from NY and the other frm Conn??? I read somewhere, the one mentioned as being involved earlier is from NY and the one Barr identified yesterday is from Conn. ????????????aggiehawg said:In an exceedingly rare type of post, I will actually sort of vindicate etcetera here. As much as he disdains the Mueller thread, he obviously reads it because Durham's name popped up months ago, right after Barr's confirmation. Although, other than Durham's extensive experience in prosecuting public officials for corruption was noted, it was still unclear exactly what Barr was tapping him for at the time.backintexas2013 said:30wedge said:loletcetera said:I will. Just keep laughing funny man.
When people pretend to have inside info you know they have jumped the shark.
Now we know he has Durham set up with a taint team to do a parallel construction to avoid a Garrity* problem caused by IG Horowitz's report.
*Garrity is a case that protects federal employee who are compelled to cooperate with IG's or lose their jobs cannot have that evidence used against them in a criminal proceeding.
P.S. You're welcome, etcetera.
Durham prosecuted and won convictions against La Cosa Nostra. With all the paper trails involved in the coup attempt, he should have no more difficulty in indicting the plotters.AggieHammer2000 said:
I am glad Barr is doing this, but he will find two things, jack and ****!
Is this fighting back as hard as the Dems fought?Rockdoc said:valvemonkey91 said:
I sure wish I shared the optimism of many on this thread. Nothing is going to happen to these people. The swamp will protect itself. No one of any significance (meaning elected officials) will be punished criminally. I hope I'm wrong, but I think many here are getting their hopes up and are in for a huge disappointment.
You could be right, but if you don't fight back as hard as the scum dems fight, you don't have a chance.
Uh, no.AggieHammer2000 said:

And yet the people they oppose, the very people you continue to vote for, are corrupt to the core and a threat to the republic.etcetera said:Quote:

John Yoo: If I were the Democrats I would be quite worried. And the reason why is by appointing a US attorney Attorney General Barr is essentially signaling that he thinks it's possible that criminal violations occurred in the start of the whole investigation into any kind of Trump-Russia collusion. As Judge Starr said there is already an inspector general investigation that's been going on that's going to come to a conclusion. That's what you'd do if you were just interested in reforming But you wouldn't go with a US attorney like Durham or someone of his stature unless the Attorney General thinks actually something criminal might have happened.
LOL! Seeing the reaction of liberals now is so fun! It really is great knowing what's in store for so many people you support. You have carried a lot of water for a lot of losers for a long time. Time to put down the buckets and rest my friend for you've been wrong about everything.etcetera said:This.Quote:

Now that Trump has named John Durham -- Look, he's not called a special counsel but he may as well be one. And let me reiterate, this guy's experience is investigating the FBI, investigating informants and their use, investigating the corruption in the FBI, and don't forget: He found that Robert Mueller kept four people -- innocent people -- in jail for years to protect the informant status of Whitey Bulger. And those people ended up suing, their families. Two of them died in jail, by the way. Two of them got out, once this was discovered.
