Jussie spills the hot sauce on himself accidentally because of the gloves he is wearing, takes the rope around his neck so he can carry his sandwich.....walks back to hotel. When he gets there he is surprised by a visitor...

So... somebody thought... "Hey, I'm going to spend an hour shaking out this hot sauce, so that I can then struggle to put bleach in it.... so I can shake one drop at a time on Jussie."
The cops couldn't find it, which means it was likely put there AFTER the alleged attack.
If there was any amount of bleach in it, there should be a likelihood it would have cracked when the bleach froze... assuming it was left there, the night of the attack.
If it was glass, and on concrete, did the person gently place it there? If the Post picked it up, with the belief it was from the attack, it would be tampering with evidence to move it.
What do you want to bet that this bleach smelled a whole lot like vinegar?

Because it's a potential PR nightmare for them so they are proceeding very cautiously and delicately.
I'm convinced of the following:
-Both sides are doing a dance where the PD is pretending it's trying to find the attackers while really only half-heartedly trying to get enough evidence to go after him for filing a false report, and he's pretending he's cooperating with their investigation while trying to not give them anything.
-Chicago PD knows he's lying, and he knows they know he's lying, but all public comments are pretending they're still trying to find the MAGA attackers.
-I still predict this gets dropped without any official mention of him being investigated for filing a false report. I think Chicago PD will ultimately decide the juice isn't worth the squeeze. Short of hard evidence
along the lines of a videotape showing him placing the rope around his own neck, I don't think they will bring charges against a black, gay celebrity, who the media thinks was victimized by racist white MAGA supporters, in 2019.
