Price is well south of that line today. That graph shows the price around 9k which is way outdated.

Part of bitcoin's problem is the crash of mining. Gpu mining is out the window, as ASIC's and FPGA come online. None of the cryptos are ever going to be as easy to get again, and the perception of the gold rush being over, coupled with the reality check of the market correction, means it's going to continue until it settles.

He's gone from a crypto-millionaire to a 29 year old who can't afford a house in Tyler, TX without a roommate in the span of a few posts.

If he really did buy in November of 2017 his 30k "investment " is about $18k in value and is under $12 now.

That's what happens when you see a pattern and declare a prediction. The pattern suddenly changes.... like RIGHT AFTER the prediction was made.

The other issue with cryptos is future's trading. Once the big banks started future's trading, it destroyed the price of bitcoin and others. The big banks don't care about the long term price of bitcoin, they only care about profits in dollars. It's highly likely that cryptos will continue going further and further down.

Not to mention that people are realizing that the future of blockchain can easily leave behind the ridiculousness of made up currencies that were only started to buy drugs and porn online without being traced.

So just to chime in on my experience with crypto-currency. When Bitcoin was around $400 a coin I setup my first account and bought 5 coins. I think I spent around $2100. I held onto the coins until the price per coin went to $2800 (I kicked myself later for not holding out longer) but I cashed out with about 14K. I took that money and paid off a 2007 Chevy 3/4 ton that I still have. So I was overall pretty happy with myself.

I've since dabbled here and there with some alt-coins. I think I have some LTC and some ETH still. I look at it more like a long term investment now. If I ever find myself in need of funds somewhere, I should be able to get the money out of my "wallet" no matter where I am in the world.

I'm considering getting back into Bitcoin even where it currently sits between $3300-3700 and just hold onto to them until the next breakout. I thinking this time around I'll probably invest another $2000 or so and see where that goes.

I wont ever make 15 million, but I don't need a roommate yet either.

It's a fascinating concept and I don't think we have even scratched the surface of it and the blockchain's potential.

I think were sitting right around 25-30k which is the bottom of the trend line intersection with 1/1/21.

Also, ever since paypal went live on bitcoun, they have been purchasing almlst all or all of the newly minted/mined bitcoin.
