the histogram they intend to change is the distribution of wealth, and they believe you can do it by taxing away from one side to add to the other. Works great in theory.

What they can't seem to ever grasp is that the median shifts left. Those close to zero stay the same, while the entire curve shifts towards zero.

You aren't adding anything to poor people, you are just taking away Value from not poor people.
