They should just go to their neighborhood elevator depot to pick up what's needed and have the local handyman swing by to fix it. It's not like a specialized piece of machinery needs a specific person to fix it with a specific part that is probably ordered upon request.

Not at all, they need some green, locally sourced elevators made my true craftspeople from SoHo with indigenous materials and hemp rope. And they should not use electricity which only lines the overflowing pockets of the legacy white slavemasters, they should be powered by white guilt through the use of wenches and pulleys. Then and only then will the intersectional victims truly make it to the top.
