Crazy ironic given that a major reason why we have the USA is the government coercing cohabitation. It's overlooked, but there's a reason why the 3rd amendment is where it's at. It would be interesting to see this get a court challenge if state governments start forcing cohabitation with migrants. The Fourth Amendment proscribes unreasonable seizure of any person, person's home (including its curtilage) or personal property without a warrant.

I would see forcing illegals into homes as unreasonable seizure.

I was wondering if the 4th would apply as well. Itssupposed to protect you from unwarranted intrusion into your home. Just spitballing , obviously no constitutional scholar here.

Here's the 3rd, which doesn't really apply, unless the Democrats declare "times of war" to be "climate change" bull**** or "newcomers" to be "military personnel".

Described by some as "a preference for the Civilian over the Military," the Third Amendment forbids the forcible housing of military personnel in a citizen's home during peacetime and requires the process to be "prescribed by law" in times of war. This Amendment is not considered controversial and has never been litigated before the United States Supreme Court.
