I would rather schools spend time teaching kids how to type faster, and on a keyboard with fingers as opposed to thumbs on a phone. But that's just me, personally.

Agreed. The original purpose of cursive was to write faster. The fact that it looks nicer is just a bonus imo. With the ability to take notes digitally, cursive just isn't as useful as it use to be. The last time I needed to use cursive was to write a short paragraph for the SAT. I've never used it or needed to use it in a professional setting.


But now there is a whole generation that can't read a significant percentage of neck tattoos.
