I think that, to be very honest with you, I do believe that we should have rightly believed, but we certainly believe that certain issues are just settled.

Ironically Spanish Flu had nothing to do with its origin.

It was right in the middle of WW I and the media for most countries involved were not allowed to report on it because of how it might affect morale or support for the war and even their enemies strategy if they knew how many were dying.

The only western free press that was reporting on it in Europe or the US was Spain because they were neutral in that war. Hence it became known as the Spanish Flu.

But almost all deadly diseases are named for the place or region they originated. Some for a person or grouop like Legionnaire's disease.

Ebola - for the Ebola river valley
MERS - middle east respiratory syndrome
Norovirus - Nowalk Ohio
West Nile Virus - West Nile District of Uganda
Guinea Worm - Guinea coast of West Africa
Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever - found first in Idaho and other areas of the rockies
Lyme Disease - Lyme, Connecticut
Zika Fever - Zika Forest in Uganda
Lassa Fever - found in Lassa, Nigeria

Dumbasses clearly have never watched a demolition derby. You ram the store with the backend of the uhaul to protect the engine and be able to ram more stores. Duh.

Sixteen Candles is still one of my top five favorite teen movies. It came out when I was a senior in high school and I still remember seeing it in the theater. I can practically quote every line.

Still really holds up well today, I watched it again a few months ago.

I love that movie! Prefer Lloyd Dobler in Say Anything, but Jake Ryan and Lane Meyer in Better Off Dead run a close second and third

John Travolta was 23, Jeff Conaway (Kenickie) was 26, and Stockard Channing (Rizzo) was the oldest in the group at 33. 4) The youngest members of the cast were Eddie Deezen (Eugene) and Dinah Manoff (Marty), who were both 19. Olivia Newton John turned 29 during filiming.

At least they were seniors. Gabrielle Carteris who played sophomore Andrea in 90210 was 29 at the time.

I think his point was the character would not be 60. Not the actor.

It says "Jake Ryan" turns 60. In 1984 Jake Ryan was a senior and probably 18. At most he would be 54 today.

more misleading, since one of the theories on its source is that the spanish flu was another gift from the chinese.
