Theoretical question: Assume that you had a President that was actively a traitor, say conspiring with the Nazis (in before "Godwin's Law") by giving them our strategic and tactical plans.

Is there no one in the government who can investigate that?

If the answer is Congress, it would not seem to have the same level of timely investigatory resources.
The president IS the executive branch. No one who works for him can legally usurp his power. So, no. The people elected him, he's the POTUS.

We should never again elect a Chinese puppet to the White Hiuse.
Thanks for the reply. And you're right, we should never again elect a President who is a puppet of any foreign or domestic power. And while I see your argument, it cannot be healthy for a Republic to have a President who is immune to any oversight whatsoever. If your analysis is correct, we probably need to create some workaround.

He isn't immune to oversight. We have 3 co-equal branches of government, but they're supposed to stay in their own lanes. No one who works in the executive branch is above the president. It's precisely why the Trump classified documents scam was such bull*****

Congress can impeach. Too bad the democrats have completely politicized impeachment, as they have everything else. *******s.

Congress can impeach, but who can investigate? Should Congress create its own FBI?

What if the next President is a Democrat who is giving classified info to China. How does Congress dig into those allegations or suspicions?

**** no. The Congress has a sufficient investigative capability through the GAO. They don't need badge carrying officers that would have a singular mission to investigate the POTUS.

Congress needs to perform their core function of legislating, precisely, to leave little latitude to executive branch bureaucrats to make rules.

Congress can investigate, they literally spend more time doing this than their actual job of legislating.

No one in the Executive Branch, including the DOJ, has authority over POTUS.

SCOTUS reaffirmed this and it is written quite plainly in the US Constitution.

The only check on an active POTUS is impeachment, or possibly the 25th Amendment. The latter was intended for incapacitation and not for incompetence or bad behavior, etc.

POTUS cannot be subject to anything other than impeachment, removal from office and possible criminal prosecution after a CONVICTION on the impeachment charges by the Senate.

BTW - It is impossible for POTUS to give anyone classified information inappropriately as POTUS has the original classification authority and the mere act of him/her sharing it declassifies it. If its treasonous behavior, then again impeachment is your huckleberry.

Anything short of that and we are no longer following the US Constitution nor the intentions, concepts, and ideals of the Founding Fathers.

Norm Eisen, John Brennan etc need to have Trump's people watching them 24/7.

Hopefully Trump has someone he can trust scanning for bugs.

FBI Started investigation into Trump in EARLY 2022 called Artic Frost. This was BEFORE Jack Smith was appointed in mid to late 2022. And was approved by Deputy Director of FBI.

He revealed his name quite some time ago. People were accusing him of not actually being a person representing J6 defendants.

It all goes back to Ukraine/Russia. Just not in the way the FBI narrative-engineers have tried to sell it.

No way! I can't believe our government was putting money into Burisma/Hunter Biden's pockets. Joe promised us everything was above board. I also can't believe they were paying reporters to "report news." This would be tantamount to propaganda and we know democrats hate propaganda and misinformation because they always tell us they do.

These people have been wiping their asses with trillions of our dollars and then setting them on fire for good measure.

After Russiagate they exported/diversified much of the narrative engineering/censorship infrastructure off-shore.

Let's not forget Nina Jankowicz' background as well ties to Ukraine/Russia, 'disinformation' ministry of truth specialist, Wilson Center, etc.
Quote:

Jankowicz's expertise spans the public, private, and academic sectors. She is the co-founder and CEO of the American Sunlight Project, a bipartisan group increasing the cost of lies that undermine democracy. She has advised governments, international organizations, and tech companies; testified before the United States Congress and the UK, Canadian, and European Parliaments; and led accessible, actionable research about the effects of disinformation on women, minorities, democratic activists, and freedom of expression around the world.

In 2022, Jankowicz was appointed to lead the Disinformation Governance Board, an intra-agency best practices and coordination entity at the Department of Homeland Security; she resigned the position after a sustained disinformation campaign caused the Biden Administration to abandon the project. Between 2017-2022, Jankowicz held fellowships at the Wilson Center, where she was affiliated with the Kennan Institute and the Science and Technology Innovation Program. In 2016-17, she advised the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on disinformation and strategic communications under the auspices of a Fulbright-Clinton Public Policy Fellowship. Prior to her Fulbright grant, she managed democracy assistance programs to Russia and Belarus at the National Democratic Institute.

Jankowicz holds a Master's degree from the Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. She is a proud alumna of Bryn Mawr College, where she studied Political Science and Russian and graduated magna cum laude. She is fluent in Russian and speaks proficient Ukrainian and Polish. In her spare time, Jankowicz enjoys acting in local musical theater productions and hiking. She lives outside of Washington, DC with her husband, son, and cat.
And the intelligence state is so pissed at the election's outcome despite their best lawfare efforts, that the current acting head of the FBI is refusing to cooperate and provide the names of bureau staff who worked to send folks to the J6 gulag as lawfully ordered by the executive (Trump).

Of course that was from her "about" page.

FedGov doesn't stop doing things it believes in because of a "disinformation campaign". The truth was and is that her career is based solely on being a partisan hack that only sees dead people when they're not Democrats.

It is disturbing that nutjobs like her have a market that will pay for her special brand of crazy lying.

All of this division and lies can be placed 100% on the media's shoulders. An honest media would have crushed HRC, Democrats, and RINO"s long ago. Nitwits like Jankoface would be selling yarn and fabric to like-minded cat people.
