BTW, I like Rogan just fine, for better or worse. At the very least he's a critical thinker that can't quite see the Dem goal which is the destruction of the constitution to achieve their goals.

Our constitution is by far, the most difficult to destroy because it has 240 years of adjudication and a list of rights given by God, which can't be taken by man. So in order to do that, the one step at a time method of destruction must be used.

And Michael Shellenberger is awesome. He's not anywhere as gung-ho as I am on what works, but he too is a critical thinker who knows history.

Fair, and I listen to some of his stuff, he's just not really a conservative at all/consistent but anyway.

I just don't understand the motivation behind the bad actors in our government. FBI for instance, are these all true believers? Really? I'm starting to come around on the idea that China is paying a hell of a lot more people (not just politicians) to act counter to US interests.

There is a good podcast on conversations with Coleman with David Sacks. They go into how this happens.

Really though Managerial Revolution by James Burnham explains the phenomenon in far more detail.

The people aren't necessarily intrinsically bad actors but they are in a system that rewards protectionism and thus face incentives to act bad to advance. There is no path of good that wins. Or reasonable path.

Thanks for the tips. I'll give them a whirl. But I don't think bureaucratic protectionism quite covers all of this. Executing a scheme to spy and take down a president is well beyond protectionism. It's seditious if not treasonous. I'm blown away with what we've all lived through in the last decade or so.
