I bet she believes the massive divide in this country, significantly bolstered by Sussman's actions, are the bigger issue.

Not smart enough to realize something changed in 2016. this fraud started by the HRC campaign, knowingly used as a tool by the alphabet agencies, and shouted from the rooftops by the MSM - all to divide the country - relied heavily on Sussman's actions that day.

Staff - take out the trash.

I just wondered if "lying to the FBI" was the same as "defrauding the federal government"?

I'm asking because if they're the same, then Sussman's one indictment was correct. If not, then it seems to me he could have been indicted on the second.

Oh, Hawg, BMX, does that kind of thing happen very often? I know when one the folks put on the stand had a vacation planned, he wanted to work around his vacation. I understand if you're subpoenaed, you show up when the court tells you to.
Up to the judge. But most trials are not very long, a few days at best. So if the vacay covers the entire trial, that would be you have to be here.

I never thought anyone connected to democrats or the conspiracy members would ever face justice for their treason. I have wondered how different the news coverage would have been had Rush Limbaugh been commenting on this over the past year. He would have forced some hands. Probably been responsible for more people calling and complaining to their representatives. Just my .02

And thanks again to all the lawyers that help me understand a bunch of this.

Which is why I thought they likely lost the trial during jury selection. And that was the result of having a bad judge.

So it was jury nullification. Nice.
Yeah. Jury went into it not even trying to be impartial. Then judge messed up the jury instructions on purpose to give them an obvious out to vote to acquit.

Everyone remotely associated with D played their roles as required. All that is needed is just enough wiggle room for some rationalizing and it all falls into place with no one element that obviously takes all the blame.

Funny how Barr had to appoint a SC. Must have known Trump wouldn't be re-elected.

W/ revelations that all this was known by 2017 and he did nothing.

I'll give him some credit. No matter the outcome of this trial, at least it will be recorded. But again, nobody is going to jail. Swamp protects the swamp.

Sedition doesn't equal conspiracy. And when was the last time anyone charged w/ sedition must lest convicted? Barr just selling books and collecting appearance checks.

Sussman acquitted and Garland shuts down Durham...
While I don't doubt your prescience, the good thing for you is that you can quit and give up, which you apparently already have.

I just don't see the value to that POV, not to mention I can't imagine a lot of folks want to hang with you terribly often. I've tried feeling sorry for myself more than once, it's a crappy way to live life.

IF your opinion comes to pass, your welcome to come here next week and emote your clairvoyance.

In the mean time, you might want to take your clairvoyance to Vegas. At least you'll be wealthy.

I appreciate candor, both sides, but let's see what happens. The jury is already stacked against us, but it's not officially over.

Yep. Should have gone to Vegas.

Wanna hang out?

I'll console you with my wisdom...

Thought about that today.

I'd hang out with an Ag pretty much anytime, unless your gonna destroy statues on campus.

I hit ya pretty hard, but there was a little personal smack there, as I have had that behavior a time or two in my life. I just can't give up, there's way too much to save and lots to do.

I sent a fairly direct letter to my Congressman today. I've had damned good representation for 35 years in Joe Barton and Ron Wright. Say what you will about Barton, but he stood his ground. Dems didn't even talk to him, as he never agreed to their crap. They both walked the walk and I knew 'em both. I don't know if Jake Ellzey is worth a damn, or not. As long as he's not one of the 40-50 Republicans who either don't get it, or choose to take the Dem rout and get rich in DC, then I'm okay.

Keep the faith.

Sad day, especially in light of all those we honored Memorial Day. Rule of law took a beating.
Among the latter, under pretence of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep.”

...and just like that....it is all swept away.

Is anyone doing the math, or keeping score, who is unable to put it all together? "Insurance Policy", Russia Hoax, Zuckerbucks, drop boxes, etc etc etc.

The swamp could not allow itself to be held to account. Why shutdown Durham when you control the courts in DC? I am afraid we have already lost and are just riding along as everything is eroded. If I am wrong, I sure can't see a way back.

Oh, shocker, the lead FBI Agent in DC is…running a blatantly political social media page for some time, with just a bit of political bias.

Quote:

Tim Thibault runs the FBI's Washington field office which, naturally, handles many of federal law enforcement's most politically charged investigations. He's been at the FBI for a quarter-century, is a longtime supervisory agent, and also held top counterterrorism posts.

Turns out, agent Thibault has a very active, highly political presence on LinkedIn, among other platforms. And no, to scrutinize that presence is not to deny that police officials are American citizens who, like everyone else, are entitled to have and to express political views. To attract people to his social-media accounts, Thibault appears to be brandishing his FBI credentials, with the implication that his status and experience give him special insight into the subjects of his dingbattery.

There are about a million regulations that prohibit FBI agents from engaging in political commentary that could undermine public confidence that the FBI is a non-partisan, apolitical investigative agency. Agents are strictly forbidden from exploiting their status as FBI officials to promote their political, commercial, and other private-sphere activities. And unless you've been living under a rock for the past seven years, you may have heard that the bureau has been laboring under the weight of an enormous scandal, stemming from the political biases of FBI leadership and investigators, and the manner in which those biases influenced the conduct and public perception of the agency's most consequential investigations.

As the Washington Examiner's Jerry Dunleavy reports
, Thibault's public commentary takes aim at Republicans, the Trump administration, the Justice Department under then-attorney general Bill Barr, the American South, and the Catholic Church, among others. And upon perusing the trenchant observations in his oeuvre e.g., "Can we give Kentucky to the Russian Federation?" you can't help but come away asking, "Who better to supervise and train junior investigators?"

Senator Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) has written to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI director Chris Wray, demanding both an inquiry and production of information about cases that Thibault has investigated and supervised. Senator Grassley is also asking the DOJ inspector-general Michael Horowitz to look into the matter. Recall that IG Horowitz has conducted several recent investigations into the FBI's political bias, mishandling of politically charged cases, and abuse of its FISA surveillance authorities (see, e.g., here, here, here, here, and here).
The FBI is an enemy of the republic and must be legislatively abolished. It cannot be reformed.
