As with the Sussmann case, the Special Counsel's Office states that the Ukraine war is delaying the intelligence community from producing the evidence as quickly as planned. Proposing new deadlines for classified information production to the defense & the court. pic.twitter.com/UVFCc0pmWB

And he was being paid by a very secretive agency in DOD. Office of Net Assessments, which has been called a slush fund for political operations by Grassley.sicandtiredTXN said:
Let us not forget Halper was contracted by the DOD during this time period that could never be really nailed down what for. Writing academic papers and analysis? Of what? He was drawing a lot of taxpayer money for very little if any return. What was he really doing? That's a big question no one is answering.

No idea. Not even sure what it is supposed to do. Even the IG's office over DOD isn't very clear on that. Some Junkie Cosmonaut said:aggiehawg said:

Quote:
Since its founding in 1973, the Office of Net Assessment (ONA) has continually provided long-term comparative assessments of trends, key competitions, risks, opportunities, and future prospects of U.S. military capability to the Secretary of Defense and Deputy Secretary of Defense.
Seems to me if it were at all military related, War College and the defense intelligence agencies could handle those types of briefings and analysis.Quote:

No doubt the ruling class will happily setup slush funds to get money to relatives. How the hell did Halper get his hand in the cookie jar?aggiehawg said:Seems to me if it were at all military related, War College and the defense intelligence agencies could handle those types of briefings and analysis.Quote:

Thus, it is not related to the military but something else. And I don't know what a former British spook would have to offer in any event.

Okay. I’ll prepare a backgrounder thread on State Dept involvement in Spygate. Hopefully tomorrow. What is prompting me to do is State’s saying that after 2 years I’ll be getting a response on 4/4/22 to this foia request. And I think other Spygate foias may get responses too. pic.twitter.com/UT2Qqqa5Ug

Ketanji’s judgment spans a whopping 120 pages. The case was about the Russiagate hoax and despite privilege, she required White House counsel McGahn to testify before Schiff. Ketanji was part of the get Trump brigade. Any Senators ask her about that yet? https://t.co/UsTkkcG9xU https://t.co/rOq6DflYEq

Durham has referenced his testimony before Congress. But what we've had no window to as of this point are Sussmanns interactions with the prior Special Counsel. Perhaps it's finally mueller-time😉

Let's remember that during the congressional hearings after the Mueller Report, Mueller's testimony was that he had no idea who Stefan Halper was. That pretty much cinched it for me that he had no actual role in what his team was doing as the SC - he was just the name.sicandtiredTXN said:Screenshots to go around censorship: pic.twitter.com/2CfD1J63dF

Mueller was the Joe Biden of the "investigation." Even before he had that disastrous testimony before Congress, Mueller was confronted on a Sunday in DC, I think him and the Mrs were coming from church and the reporter was asking his a couple of simple questions, and it rattled Mueller so badly he couldn't even open the door of his vehicle and his wife had to come around from her side of the vehicle and take the keys from him and hit the fob to unlock the doors so they could get in the car to leave. That showed me exactly how frail and out of it Mueller was back then. He was acting like a cornered rat confused and couldn't function. Weissmann was running that investigation. They chose Mueller as the front man because he was a republican and and wanted to give the appearance that the "investigation" was bipartisan instead of the political hitjob it was. Weissmann hand picked the team and ran it as Mueller's number two. There were numerous reports all threw the investigation that mueller never rarely showed up to the Special Counsel's offices. The press was always camped out at that building.3 Toed Pete said:Let's remember that during the congressional hearings after the Mueller Report, Mueller's testimony was that he had no idea who Stefan Halper was.
