Petards would be okay, but using Vlad the Impaler's method is a preferred punishment, but that's just me!
I hope you're wrong and indictments are forthcoming, unfortunately I think you're right and these sick perverted corrupt criminals will skate.nortex97 said:

Sorry, rant over. The DoJ itself is utterly corrupt, as is the FBI.

Yeah, Grassley can press all he wants; DoJ will stonewall, then around December let him know they couldn't figure it out, not enough evidence to pursue charges/investigate further.
It's the HRC strategy, all over again. "I cannot recall." (x40 times) "with a cloth?" "Bleachbit, what's that?" "What difference, at this point, does it make?" She also somehow managed to claim the letter C in parenthesis she thought meant copyrighted, and was never called to the carpet on that either.

So what is next?drcrinum said:

I don't know, but if all the phones were personal phones he may not have had the authority to obtain the phones. In this article it doesn't appear to clarify if these were government issued or personal.redline248 said:So Horowitz is also a POS?will25u said:

I sure hope you are wrong. What will be the effect on those jurisdictions that will not permit Alford pleas? Puts a pleading defendant in a no-win. Chooses to plead guilty for a sweetheart deal, lies during allocution/court colloquy, and is now on the hook for perjury if actually innocent?Quote:
My guess is Sullivan sentences Flynn to a year for perjury anyway. And also rules that he remain in jail pending appeal. His obvious animus against Flynn is that strong. But Barr also controls the Bureau of Prisons under DOJ.
IOW, Sullivan will create a separation of powers constitutional crisis. Freakin' clown show is a vast understatement.
The reason I think Sullivan is intending to sentence him for perjury is because it was his idea. He said it in the minute order naming Gleeson and directed him to brief on that specific issue.Aggie Jurist said:I sure hope you are wrong. I'm guessing that Sullivan holds until after the election, forcing another mandamus petition. The best outcome we can hope for is following Circuit precedent, dismisses with a scathing Order claiming corruption by Barr and the DOJ is the likely reason for the dismissal - and this drops the Friday before election day.

So.... About Lindsey Graham subpoenaing those Russia Gate Hoax people...
It's all about trying to force Trump to pardon him before the election because they know a pardon is coming right after regardless of who wins.aggiehawg said:

When is the last time Sullivan acted rationally? Before the DOJ filed the MTD? Because he hasn't acted very rationally since, in my view.Quote:
I don't think a pardon will be necessary. I think Sullivan Dismisses the case because he thinks he's made his "point", and if he doesn't the circuit court will
