No Comey, either. Both of them refused to have their security clearances reinstated to prepare for questioning, IIRC.VegasAg86 said:
There is no transcript for Brennan for the HPSCI investigation. Did he not testify?
I view unhinged Brennan tweets like this favorably ... 'hair on fire' reaction for/against from 2/3's of voters ... the middle third saying; "that guy is a bonafide wingnut."aggiehawg said:

Lawfare taken to the cleaners. I think especially the attorneys on this forum would appreciate reading this article.
I didn't know thisQuote:
Neither Wittes nor Quinta Jurecic, another of the three co-authors on the piece, are attorneys
And Hillary bailed out the DNC, so she probably told them to make those payments to Fusion GPS from the money she gave them.drcrinum said:
The above extract comes from Page 13 of John Podesta's 2nd testimony before the HPSCI, December 4, 2017:

Hillary's Campaign paid 50% of the contract with Fusion GPS (Steele dossier) & the DNC the remaining 50%, the contract running through Perkins Coie as an intermediary. I've always been led to believe that the DNC paid for the entire deal. Wow! Hillary paid for the dossier. Who knew?
Epitome of incompetence by Flynn's original lawyers.Quote:
As a former federal prosecutor for 22 years and now a defense attorney for the past 7 years, I do not fear being contradicted when I say that a defense attorney who allows his client to plead guilty to a 1001 violation without seeing the FBI 302 of the interview where the client is said to have lied, and without seeing the evidence in the possession of the prosecutor which supposedly establishes that his client lied in the interview that attorney is not a "first class lawyer." I don't care what firm he works for, or what his hourly rate is. At worst, he potentially provided ineffective assistance to his client and at the very least he provided very bad lawyering.

Watching that exchange between Jim Jordan and Mueller reminded me how removed and feckless Mueller was, and confirms that the real head of the SC's office was Weissman. That SOB needs to be hauled in to congressional hearing (once the R's win the house back) to explain why he made the decisions he made.Prognightmare said:
I don't think it was incompetence at all. When "mistakes" are made that many times, they aren't really mistakes. It's corruption.VaultingChemist said:
