More delays. The defense & the prosecution have been meeting, but they have yet to reach an agreement on the attorney-client privilege issue.

They way the judge was blowing off steam in the courtroom, everyone was expecting a sledgehammer sentence.

Seems appropriate sentence to me I think. The guy wasn't innocent after all from what I understand. The issue was that a 9 years recommendation was excessive, right? so what's the big deal?

Remember the rhubarb when Trump attempted to appoint Rep. John Ratcliffe as DNI? It was because Ratcliffe knew too much about SpyGate & was one of the few individuals who had read many of the classified reports, & there were complaints he was too partisan. Well, Grenell is a Trump loyalist -- Trump has learned he needs loyalists in top positions -- but he isn't up to snuff on SpyGate & the Swamp. Patel was Nunes' right hand man; he knows as much about SpyGate & the Swamp as Nunes & Ratcliffe do. Actually, this is a better move, because had Ratcliffe become DNI, he would have had to give up his congressional seat in NE Texas.

I heard this on the radio from Joe Pags and can't find a story on line but if true it confirms Rod Rosenstein as a black hat. Pags was reporting that during the 25th amendment episode, Rosenstein was contacting and getting advice from former Obama officials.

Think there's a political angle to it as well. Collins is planning to run for Senate in GA against the currently appointed Republican senator.

So I live in GA and Loeffler has been flooding the markets with commercials. Her commercials are actually pretty good.

If I didn't follow politics I would not know anything about Collins. Nor have I seen any commercials for him. If he is going to be running for the GA Senate seat, I feel like he is behind the curve.

There was some articles written last month that Collins said he was going to run for the Senate seat. He may have been persuaded not to run with the DNI post as carrot.
