Some animals are more equal than others.

To be fair, he was smart enough to give himself just enough of a window of plausible other explanations for his actions to make a prosecution of an actual criminal violation difficult. You can be corrupt without being criminal.

Increasing in pace for who? It appears it ok for Trump to be investigated and harassed until he's dead, but the instigators go free.

So McCabe won't be prosecuted for lying about leaking intel to a newspaper. BFD. He was fired & lost his retirement pension because of it...that's a rather stiff punishment when you consider his retirement paid out over perhaps 30 years would have been a 7 figure amount.

And no telling what happened to the campaign money from his wife's Virginia race. The terry mcauliffe bribe/donation was quite impressive.

I respectfully disagree, especially when Stone and Flynn are staring down actual punishment in addition to the financial losses they have suffered.

He didn't lose his pension, he lost eligibility for early retirement.

I just checked...You're right! (The earlier reports were wrong.) My bad. Now I'm with you.

Quote:

Attorney General William Barr has installed an outside prosecutor to conduct a review of the criminal case against former Trump adviser Michael Flynn, the New York Times reported on Friday.

In addition, Barr has appointed prosecutors to review a number of other politically sensitive cases, none of which were named by the Times. These prosecutors have been interviewing line prosecutors on investigative decisions and the reasons behind them.

A prosecutor from the office of the U.S. attorney in St. Louis, Mo. is handling the Flynn case, while prosecutors from the office of Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey A. Rosen are taking up other cases.

I'm thinking most if not all of the Mueller cases will be reviewed.

Yup. I have been saying for over a year that i doubt anyone gets prosecuted for the Russian collusion hoax. They made sure there was just enough smoke that they could claim they were justified in looking into it.

Too many leaks in DC. And the Washington press is all about the cocktail circuit with FBI agents and DOJ personnel.

Not that true outside of the swamp.

From the profile of the US attorney who will be reviewing Flynn's case per the request of Barr:

https://www.justice.gov/usao-edmo/meet-us-attorney

Quote:

Jeff Jensen was nominated by President Donald Trump on July 14, 2017, and confirmed by the U.S. Senate on October 4, 2017. He took the oath of office on October 6, 2017......

Jensen graduated from the Indiana University School of Business before becoming a CPA for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He then became an FBI agent for 10 years and graduated from the St. Louis University School of Law. Jensen served another 10 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney before going into private practice in 2009.

Trump appointee, former FBI agent, former assistant US attorney...sounds like they sould have a hard time pulling the wool over his eyes.

https://www.realclearinvestigations.com/articles/2020/02/13/buried_in_ig_report_fbi_gave_steele_highly_protected_secrets_122394.html

Another revelation from Horowitz's report: When a Crossfire Hurricane team met with Steele in Rome in October 2016, they illegally shared highly classified details of their investigation with Steele, knowing full well that Steele would relay the details to Glenn Simpson...which he did...and they paid Steele to come to Rome for the trip. Steele was not a CHS either. Read the article for all the details. Good read.

Why were these people so desperate to find incriminating evidence on the Trump Campaign that they willfully & frequently violated the law?

Remember the above from yesterday's post? Well, here's proof that Simpson took classified info from the above FBI meeting with Steele in Rome & weaponized it in the media the same month (October 2016):

Article detailing all of the mischief created by Case Agent 1 per Horowitz's report, one of the principal antagonists in FISAGate for sure. If you look above on our page to Lindsey Graham's list of witnesses to be interviewed, Case Agent 1 is #2 on the list. We are fairly certain that Case Agent 1 = Stephen M. Somma from the NY Field Office.

So NYPD and NY FBI didn't pursue these heinous crimes and behaviors because the Justice Dept threatened to open a case on an incident that was already all over television? If that's truly the reason they clearly have NO BACKBONE. As I read incident after incident I can only wonder if there's anyone in government that is just willing to do the right thing and tell the damn TRUTH.

You think they'd admit to threatening assassination on anyone who spoke out? Threatening legal action is a better story for the masses to accept.

willing to do the right thing
I think the definition of "right thing" will vary tremendously between our Lefty shills and us.

I find the suspicion of Barr being responsible for redacting Rosenstein's name curious, and very concerning. The NYPD and NY FBI never really bothered me, as I was certain the NY FBI office was/is corrupt. The NYPD was in a poor position to stand up to the feds. I don't like it, and kind of understand it, but I'd be willing to bet that de Blasio's minions were involved, or de Blasio himsel.
Hate is how progressives sustain themselves. Without hate, introspection begins to slip into the progressive's consciousness, threatening the progressive with the truth: that their ideas and opinions are illogical, hypocritical, dangerous, and asinine.
This is backed by data.
