A blind person can see that Obama's DOJ / FBI / IC and then the Special Council went after Trump and his people using every devious prosecutorial underhanded trick in the book as if they were big time Mobsters or Terrorists. What a bunch of disgusting rabid animals to do this to a fairly elected President Of The United States. Hang'um High !

Nobody is going to get in trouble for what they did to Flynn. Maybe a butt chewing.

I was slow to the party in high school but then again I graduated when I was only 17. Graduated from A&M when I was 20. Looking back I have no idea why I was in such a hurry to become "an adult."

Damn glad to hear the news. I vacillate each day between which one of the government G-men I hate the most.

Quote:

.....Some of the evidence Powell seeks is already presumed by many to exist, such as FISA applications pertaining to Flynn and the original 302 written shortly after FBI agents interviewed Flynn about his conversations with the Russian ambassador. But other evidence Powell identifies reveals that she has skinned all the snakes involved in SpyGate and knows exactly what went down. For instance, Powell requested "any information, including recordings or 302s, about Joseph Mifsud's presence and involvement in engaging or reporting on Mr. Flynn and Mifsud's presence at the Russia Today dinner in Moscow on December 17, 2015.".....

Also intriguing is Powell's request for: "All payments, notes, memos, correspondence, and instructions by and between the FBI, CIA, or DOD with Stefan Halper -- going back as far as 2014 -- regarding Michael Flynn, Svetlana Lokhova, Mr. Richard Dearlove (of MI6), and Professor Christopher Andrew (connected with MI5) and Halper's compensation through the DOD Office of Net Assessment as evidenced by the whistleblower complaint of Adam Lovinger, addressed in our brief."

What is fascinating about this request is that the uninformed will see the 2014 date as evidence that Powell is on a fishing expedition, while in reality, her bid for this information shows that Powell has in three short months pieced together more tiles in the mosaic of the Russia collusion fraud than Robert Mueller did in two years.

That is because the spying on Trump likely began with spying on Flynn, and involved not just the FBI, CIA, and Department of Defense, but their British counterparts, and dated back to Flynn's time as President Obama's Defense Intelligence Agency director.....

This is my contention as well. When Obama fired Flynn in the summer of 2014, Flynn had already become a marked man -- he had been extremely critical of Obama's policies regarding Syria & ISIS, had publicly testified in Congress that Benghazi was most likely a coordinated attack (contradicting Hillary, Obama & Clapper), plus he knew where many skeletons were buried. Given what we are gleaning about illegal surveillance during the Obama era, it's almost a given that Obama had secretly placed Flynn under surveillance well before he was fired.

Below is a long thread on Flynn that dwells on a number of important historical details:

That should be, "Aaaannnddd, Mueller is still a POS."

But stick around for awhile longer because there is much more in the pipeline, as I believe Sydney Powell is about to break the logjam with the Brady material requests.

Plus Jim Jordan has said that Durham is doing a deep dive on his his end talking to people that Jordan had only spoken with before because DOJ under Sessions and Rosenstein was useless as Team Mueller was running interference for Congressional oversight efforts.

Finally, Lindsay will call Horowitz for a hearing on the pending FISAgate report, may be as early as two weeks from now and Lindsay has promised lots of declass material.

Quote:

One of the deepest, darkest secrets of Russiagate soon may be unmasked. Even President Trump may be surprised.

Multiple witnesses have told Congress that, a week before Trump's inauguration in January 2017, Britain's top national security official sent a private communique to the incoming administration, addressing his country's participation in the counterintelligence probe into the now-debunked Trump-Russia election collusion.

Most significantly, then-British national security adviser Sir Mark Lyall Grant claimed in the memo, hand-delivered to incoming U.S. national security adviser Mike Flynn's team, that the British government lacked confidence in the credibility of former MI6 spy Christopher Steele's Russia collusion evidence, according to congressional investigators who interviewed witnesses familiar with the memo......

Interesting that the above article was published today only one day after Sidney Powell's memo to Judge Sullivan regarding withheld exculpatory Brady material in the Flynn Case. In fact, this letter was the Number 1 item specified among the 40 requests for Brady material & represented a new public revelation in SpyGate:

Quote:

1. A letter delivered by the British Embassy to the incoming National Security team after Donald Trump's election, and to outgoing National Security Advisor Susan Rice (the letter apparently disavows former British Secret Service Agent Christopher Steele, calls his credibility into question, and declares him untrustworthy).

This letter was delivered to Flynn's Team on January 12, 2017, although Flynn himself may not have actually seen it. It came to light much later when Flynn was questioned about it by Mueller's Team. But it also went to Susan Rice. (Hmmm.....) That date places it in the government's hands at just about the exact date of the first renewal of Carter Page's FISA application -- it surely was available prior to the second & third renewals, which means, once again, that Rosenstein was a POS.

Since I've been reading this thread, I've been paying attention to prosecutorial conduct and it's evil twin, misconduct.

I've assumed changes in the law, and rules within the legal community were responsible for increasing prosecutor misconduct, but after following the Flynn case alone, it seems like there are plenty of villians to go around. I'm sure there are some lousy judges who either just don't give a damn, or see the Constitution as a "living document" that's a moving target. In the case of Flynn, the first attorneys he had not only committed malpractice, but didn't ask for half the stuff Powell has. Surely they knew this information was relevant, and likely fit into Brady, but they also seemed to bend over and let Van Grack have his way.

So it appears that judges could be the culprit, but also defense attorneys. It just sucks.

I am purely speculating here but very few of the actions taken by Flynn's former counsel at Covington, Burling have ever made that much sense to me but I assume they knew much more than I did and their actions were reasonable. I no longer hold that view.

I think Team Mueller was holding something over them, threatening them in some way.

The long awaited DOJ Inspector General's report on the FBI's applications to the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court is now finished and is currently undergoing the declassification process. It is expected to be released sometime this month. Unlike the IG's recent report on James Comey's interactions with President Trump which accused Comey of breaking FBI rules and policies, this report will focus on violations of the law. It will answer the question we all want answered. Did James Comey's FBI acquire warrants to spy on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page illegally? If the recent buzz is correct, the report concludes that all four warrants were obtained illegally......

A few slaps on the wrist at most.

Sure it will talk about procedures, rules, and laws being broken, but the DOJ won't do anything to those involved.

https://dailycaller.com/2019/09/12/senators-state-department-watchdog-christopher-steele/

Grassley's letter:
https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/2019-09-12%20RHJ,%20CEG%20to%20State%20OIG%20re%20Christopher%20Steele%20Meeting.pdf

This is interesting & looks like more coverup. It concerns the October 11, 2016 Department of State meeting between Steele, Winer, & Kavalec with Nuland hiding in the background. The OIG of the State Department investigated this meeting because Grassley sent him (Steve Linick) an inquiry on May 9, 2016 regarding Hatch Act violations, use of non-government computers for official business, etc. However, this OIG never interviewed Winer, Kavalec or Nuland, never issued a formal report, & only sent a referral to Team Mueller about an (unnamed) employee possibly engaging in anti-Trump activity. There's a time factor problem here though, since an OIG cannot subpoena civilians (Winer & Nuland were gone), but he certainly could have interviewed Kavalec & written a formal report like OIG people are supposed to do.

But here's an amazing coincidence regarding the above: Grassley's original letter to Linick was dated May 9, 2019. That date, May 9, 2019 is the exact date that John Solomon broke the story of Kavalec's memo to the FBI about Steele's credibility:

Well, we now know if they talk to any federal government agent then change their story at all for any reason, they could be prosecuted for a felony. Given they have other legal issues they are dealing with, they may have been vulnerable to intimidation.

I'm going a little further with that and suggest there was an active Title I FISA on Flynn and as his lawyers, their communications with him and likely others were being monitored.

Well, this will put Jessie Liu under the gun. If she doesn't obtain a conviction or guilty plea on McCabe, that will end her career under a Republican Administration. Of course, that might make her SCOTUS material under a Democrat President.

Short video.
So, there has not been an indictment yet of McCabe by a grand jury. The next step is a 'target letter' warning the recipient that he/she is a target of a criminal prosecution, not to destroy any evidence, outlining the individual's rights, etc. So will McCabe seek a deal?
(I didn't know what a target letter was & looked it up.)
